A Student’s honest Review of SRM Institute of Science and Technology

The course curriculum at SRM INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY is relevant and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge. It includes core subjects lab sessions,and projects that help students understand and real world experiences exams are conducted through internal assessments and end semesters exams which are generally moderate in difficulty. However adding more industry exposure and practical training would further improve tge curriculum

Placement at srm university quite good and especially for technical experience are ver good students usually become the eligible for the campus placements from the 6th or 7 th semester many known companies visit the campus for the recruitments and the offer roles in different fields the highest package are usually much higher for top performers while the average package is 4-5 lpa dedepending the course

The yearly fee of my course is 500000 it mainlyincludes tuition fees,registration fees,admission fees,lab fees and development fees.the total fee for the complete course is approximately 8,00000 and it usually remains almost same almost every year with only small increases. Students from SC/ST will get the fees concessions as per government norms. Some scholarships are also available such as merit based scholarships and merit cum need financial aid provided by institutions or government schemes.Overall the fees structure is moderate compared to other colleges offering similar courses.

campus life at Srm institute of science and technology is active and engaging with many opportunities for students.the university coducts the fest and such as Milan and Aarush ehich are usually held during the academic year and attracts many participants. The library has widels range of books journals and digital resources that support academic learning. Classrooms qre well equipped with the modern technology like projectosrs and smart boards the campus also offers good sport facilities and many student clubs and student organisations where students can participate in cultural and trchnical activities.

The hostel facility at SRM are decent and provide basic amenities for students. Rooms are available in different sharing options and are equipped bed study tables cupboard, wifi and basic utilities the hostel mess provides regular meals with fixed menu and it is manageable. Overall the hostel is convenient as it located inside tge campus only and provides easy acess to academic buildings and other facilities

I chose the SRM INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY because of it's reputation and infrastructure and placement opportunities compared to other many other private universities I also explored a few other colleges but SRM offeres better facilities industry exposure and the course. The admissions process was smooth mainly based on the entrance exam SRMJEE and eligibility criteria based on entrance exams and 12th marksheet overall experience is so good

The faculty members at the SRM UNIVERSITY are well qualified and knowledgeable in their respective fields. Most professors hold post graduate for post graor doctorate degrees and have the good teaching experience. The faculty to ratio is moderate and many faculty members are approachable.

Nightlife around SRM institute of science and technology is decent and student friendly inside the campus cafeterias and gyms and common areas remain until evening while the library is usually open for long hours for students and have specific intime at night for safety. Many students hangout at near cafes . The area around the university is generally safe and active because of large student populations making comfortable place
