Good college

Curriculums are good (it depends on depts) and they are updated and new electives/ cbcs are added thus updating curriculum and there are subject with heavy lab which don't have end sem instead lab and only internal which is not what other colleges have. they also have open book test for subjcts like programming languge so students can focus on learning the language instaed of memorizing. however as we are batch of a new regulation we are not aware of kind of questions that would come. however forthcoming batches won't be having this issue. unlike other collges only 2 internal exams and 1 semester is conducted. both the internal is given equal weightage ( having unit 1&2 and 3&4 for each exams) and retest is also conducted for internal however even if one exam not written they need to write all 4 unit incase of health issues etc. 50% internal and 50% external. so if having good internal can easlity score well in total. However if one fails to secure internal then passing the subject becomes very hard. Core subjects however prepares well for real-world. however i feel curriculums should be slightly revised so that students learn everyhting systematically instead of memorizing. About 1.5l per year (tution), or 1.8l per year.Depeding on the time of admission. like before or after result 12th result declaration and based on demand. for forthcoming batches the fees are were increasing.However when compared to other deemed university it was having comparable / cheaper fees (as i belive) at the time of admission.

technosummit is the major annual event conucted by the college every year other than that several events are being conducted oth technical and non-technical. technical are mostly computer realted events. many ieee,iste,iei and department conducted events occur. Library has books for all subjects and also has books for competetive exams and has access for ieee papers and other such things. some classes have projector but not all classes have. mostly ground floor classes have gallery like classrom and projectors. theyre are sports clubs,ncc,nss. It has all 3 wings of ncc. there are other clubs like science club,music club, maths club and many inter-departmental clubs where students can activly participate

Main reason is location in city and well connected and has reasonable fees and placement records. And good college timings. There is an entrance examination conducted for this college however it is not the main mode of admission, but fees could be reduced if entered by that means. No cutoff issue / no entrance ,however earlier the time of admiision the fees could be less and depending on demand fees may be hikied at the time of admission. But they start the college very early i.e before anna univeristy councelling. so you may not get fees refunded if you get admission in other college.

relationship between student and faculty is good as there are many helping faculties. however reaching higher managemnet would require hierarchial. Most staff will be able to reach their councellor , year corrdinator and if not atleast thorugh phone calls. Like every where some may not be kind

there are wifi zones however students are supposed to be in classrooms and only during breaks they should come out after and there will be discipline tea. gym is there for hostel students and there is ground for playing for hostel students. has canteen for food other than mess food (mess food is free) . Hostel students have only 3 outings per month and timing for college is 9 to 3:15 qnd may vary depending on placement class, other club events. there is food street and located few km from beach, has shopping malls and good road connectivity.
