Remarks
There are many positives of the college but there are some negatives too, positive is the knowledge you gain is better and placement is good, but negative is that the college doesn't have a great infrastructure.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is good, covers all the basics that is really needed to be covered in a UG course for computer science engineering. They can still improve with the curriculum. Otherwise the curriculum of the college is good.
Placement Experience
placement and job opportunities are excellent with this college. There are many MNC's visit the college campus for recruitment and the companies provide good package too, and many students get placed too.
College Events
Almost all events are celebrated in the college. There are many festivals that are organized in the college be it culture festival or sports festival or technical festival. And all other festivals are celebrated too in the campus itself.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is slightly expensive according to me. The annual fee for me it was ?175000. According to college infrastructure the fee seems to more higher than normal. But the kind of placement the college provides, it seems feasible too.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are scholarship provided by the college if you have score 9 CGPA or above, but i did not have that much CGPA that's why i was not eligible for the scholarship. Loan facility is provided by banks for this college easily.
Campus Life
There are many extracurricular activities that take place in the college, like there is cricket team and football team of college that go to various places for tournament, there are inter college festivals.
Hostel Facilities
I opted for hostel, and hostel infrastructure and facilities are average. Rooms are good and cleaning facility is also good. Hostel food is also average not as great as we get at home but the hostel fee makes it seem feasible.
Alumni/Alumna
the seniors are very helpful, there are very good alumni too of this college. I have also had assistance of seniors during my placement season and they were very helpful. Even the placement staff at our college is very helpful.
Admission
An exam called SRMJEE was held. Then according to the ranks counselling dates were provided. Then counselling was held, then according to rank and number of seats for a particular course, that course was provided.
Faculty
Faculty is average. Some of the faculty has not much experience and some has experience but they don't exactly know how to share the knowledge with students. They are more like they want the student to pass the exam more than they want the student to be skillful.
