Course Curriculum Overview

4

Yeah i took information science engineering as my course in the engineering and it is very very similar to the computer science branch or the course and the subjects i study here i quite important for the type of job i look into and seems it comprehensive and helpful for the future real world job for me and the college could have given more importance in giving chances in developing the useful projects and pushing students into internships so they could be more open to the industry atmosphere And frequency of exam could given a little more gaps between sems

Fees and Financial Aid

I entered as a lateral entry student (diploma student) directly entering into 2nd year engineering I passed the diploma and wrote dcet exam and got this Dayananda Sagar College of engineering for my ranking and my preference and the government fees for all who used to go under dcet exam was 99980 roughly 1lakh and my college extra development fees was 20000 later the next year i paid only 112760 rs around and my category obc 2A i got one year scholarship of 18000 almost all have the same fee structure who got seat from cet or dcet exam other who come with cometk and manegement quota pays more money

Campus Life

3

There are many clubs inside the college and many branch clubs are also there and do annual fest and farewell for the last year students And also many technical games are conducted and also hackathons are frequently conducted and other cultural social groups are also there

Admission

I had some priorities in the colleges and I placed the colleges in the same order Dayananda Sagar College of engineering was in my 6th option and after me getting my ranking i saw the previous year cutoff and I was sure that Dayananda Sagar College wil be the college i will get according to my option entry and my rank And i was also fixed to this college itself I didn't see the above 5 colleges as my option because my ranking and the college cutoff was not matching and had great difference and i didn't got admission to any other college i directly got admission in the same Dayananda Sagar College after the allotment through the dcet exam I wrote the dcet exam after completing my diploma they take the average of last year of diploma and the dcet score and average them and give the ranking these are the main criteria and the college gives space for students according to the categories given from the government for each category certain seats should be given to those category students itself like that

Faculty

3

There are plenty of faculties particular in my branch don't know in other branches i feel there are plenty there too and they find easy to contact inside the college Faculties quietlgood and some are friendly and understands how students need the teaching and some are egoistic and cuts the marks in the aat marks for who they don't like Exams seems quiet easy as we get prepared for 3 internals each the course subjects we have is quite similar to the market demand in the outside industries

Night Life

3

I don't stay in hostel and I don't know the nightlife out there but i see my friends enjoy there and there are many good sunset spots and there are some good food spots too and i also heard there's a gym inside the hostel and there are reserved cafeterias for the hostel students inside their hostel I don't know the timings of the hostel ane the cafeteria
