Vit Ap - Take a Look

There is nothing about curriculum but i was interested in computers so i chose this course , yes the curriculum that this college has is preparing me very well and it upto me now how good i can perform for my success , and we have a embedded lab system which drives students to make projects , solve problems , learn sotware tools which makes students prepared for real world applications, Everything is perfect in terms of college curriculum and teaching methods i what i say , but its the students personal effort which makes difference , Yes there are some faculty who are not to the standards but yeah in upcoming years it changes

Yes the placements are good in my college but for the students who study well , the collge almost have 5k students strength in final years it not possible to give all the students high paying jobs since the companies who pay higher recruit less students , But most of students are being placed but for low packages In the end of 3rd year the placements are started and most important thing is students are categorised by their CGPA so maintaining 9+ Cgpa is very important for high paying jobs There are almost more than 100 companies which visit our college and i dont the exact numbers , The highest package obtained by our college student is 80 lpa

The fees i will be paying is same for all four years which is 3 lakh and the hostel fees depends on the type room you choose . There is no reservation in VIT so the fees depends on your performance in VITEEE Entrance exam There is no other fees seperately like lab fee , exam fee everything is included in the tution fee itself Mostly all students are of Category 1,2,3 which is 2,3,4 lakh fee respectively For students who are from the state andhra pardesh they can get seat through EAMCET which has limited seats obtain scholarships from the state government to cover your Tution fee

There are many events which are conducted in the college but the biggest event is called VITOPIA where cultural and sports events are conducted , and popular singers come to college to perform here . we need to buy tickets to attend all these events which occurs in time span of 3 days . There are almost 130 clubs in college conducting many events almost every day which gives limelight to every student

My room is 2bed Non ac room , and Non veg mess this costs me 1.6 lakh which not at all worth it is what i feel but all the amenities they provide are very good it may be mess , cleaning , laundry etc But reducing fees may make it worth the fees Mess is very good and also the menu they provide 4 days chicken in a week which is a hotshot and all the food tastes very good The registration for the hostel is different compared to first year because the room you get depends on the academic performance of the student I am planing to move to a pg but i have no idea in present

When i was in intermeditate i only had thought of one college that is VIT Vellore which is near from my home town i thought to be Days Scholar in VIT Vellore , i wrote the entrance exam but i didnt get the rank to join the vit vellore campus and i ended up being in VIT but in another branch , I did not write other exams so there is nothing to say why ignored other colleges. Admission Process of VIT is We write exam and get our rank , by seeing rank we can guess which branch and Fees we are gonna get , we will have online councelling which is choosing the branch and fee category then , the seat are awarded from first rank to next rank they keep giving seats to students and when its your turn they see the avalability and give you the seat , then the Advance payment should be done to confirm seat the they will give instruction to join the college with required documents

As i said earlier all the education system in the college is very good i this college and i wil also exaplain clearly below Course Types : Only thery Embedded Theory Embedded Lab Embedded Project etc The courses are very well designed to make the student a good engineer Exams we have CAT 1 CAT 2 FAT The exams are conducted very strictly which is good and the marking scheme is a bit complex first we have thoery and lab part each having weightage of 70:30 respectively and again in thoery 15+15 for cat marks each conducted for 50 marks converted to 15 and 40 for FAT conducted for 100 and 30 internal marks total 15+15+40+30=100 for theory and for lab 50 from experiments 50 from lab fat which is reduced to 30 this is the marking scheme The student who prepares well can score good marks the exams are not that difficult, Yes some students fail since it is relatiive grading it is 5-8 students per class i think

Food street is the hang out place for most of the students after classes , and we are allowed to roam till 8:30 anywhere in the campus but we should return to their respective hostels after 8:30 Every hostel block has a gym which is free and also have one paid gym which has all advanced equipments compared to free gym , Adding some more equipments to the free gym make a lot difference is what i feel Overall the night life in the college is good
