I Business Institute overview from the point of view of the student.

The curriculum is very industry oriented and flexible. We refer books but majorly we refer the case studies to apply all the concepts into the real world corporate scenarios. Our assignments comes with a great practical knowledge where we asked to build solutions for the businesses, visit industries to have real time understanding of buiness operations. Apart from this we also have classes of personality development to polish and brighten our personality in every aspect and make us ready to face the corporate in a very decent and formal manner. Apart from soft skills, to boost our technical skills , we got the opportunity to have classes of advance excel, tableue, Python, Cyber security. To give us real time industry exposure, the college takes us for industry visits where we observe the actual businesses and industries processes. Above of all of this the expert open house sessions with corporate experts allows us to resolve any knid of doubt related to our career goals. So overall the curriculum is designed to overall development of students in every aspect.

For internships companies like cura capital, reliance, yakult etc comes with a stpend which ranges between 20 to 25k. In the first year of our PGDm we performed different projects and taks like POWER BI dashboadrs. python projects, Excel worksheets and tableue dashboards.

Students when they comes back from their summer internships, starts appearing for the internship interviews. The final interviews takes place months before the completion of the course. Companies like amul, delloit, amazon, meesho, flipkart comes in the campus for hiring. Many students get the PPO from their intership companies and they dont have to sit fot the final placements. the highest package offerd is 28LPA and the lowest rangese between 6 to 8 LPA. Almost 90 percent students get placed and rest opts for starting their own startups. After completing the cousre i want to place myself in a reputed company in a reputed designation, however through our curriculum i am also looking to start my own startup and work upon it simultaneously my job.

I paid 5,60,000/- fee for the first year. For PGDM elite, the total course fee is 10,55,000 and for non elite the fee is around 9,00,000/-. More than 10% of scholership is provided for good entrance exam scores like CAT, XAT and CMAT and for prior work experience.

The college and compus life at IBI is very wholesome. We as a student celebrate each and every festival to the fullest. The campus becomes our new house when iy comes to festival. We celebrated ganpati utsav, janmashtami, Holi, Lohdi, Cristmas, Indipendence day, republic day, marathon for disabled, women day, teachers day. Apart from it we had boho themed event, students led musical event, sufi night. the main events are khel zfiest which is our annual sports event and Raunak which the annual culutral event in which students from other universities participate and compete. TThese events are organised by students from marketing, cretive team and sponsorship team and the organising team which makes us ready to take over perojects in corpporates and promotes team building, decision making among students. the club events like finance, marketing, IT, Operation comes with excitement and learning altogether. Apart of this a student led CSR drive also takes place in the campus.

I applied different colleges for PGDM and MBA in Delhi NCR and in Dehradun like Amity University Noida, Bimtech, GEHU Dehradun, etc but the major reason behind choosing IBI was its prime location, ROI and POA letter. As other colleges, those having perfect location were either too expensive or was not providing satisfactory ROI and other those who were in my budget, does not having enough exposure due to their locations. For taking Admission at IBI the students have to go through three or four rounds of personal interview. Students get judged on the basis of their critical thinking, decision making and communication skills. Getting admission at IBI is easy and the interviews plays an important role for the profiling for each students based on which the college makes adjustemets in the curriculum. If students having good score in entrance exams like CAT, CMAT they will definitely will be eligible for the scholarships and if they are having prior work experince it also makes them eligible for the scholarship.

The Faculty of the college is very supportive, knowlegable with years of corporate and teaching experience. For every 20 students there is one faculty in a batch of 240 students. Faculty like Subh sir who motivates us to expand our knowledge outside the books, exams and the campus, especially in AI. Young faculty like Vipul Mehta sir who manages to teach finance in a very easy and understandable manner and Vaishali Ma'am who takes the students in the ride of real world corporates scenarios through her teachings. We have trimester system and we give exams almost every month in the form of Mid term and End term which helps us to maintain our studies and prevents us to overload the syallbus all at a time. Exams are not difficult but practical. Students are suppose to solve the real world problems and case studies using all the concepts and theories which we study in our classes, all in laptop without using pen and paper. Almost every students manages to paas the exam because every perspective is welcomed in exam, students are expected to act as a manager and build their own strategies and each student can have a unique strategy so nothing gets totally wrong hence makes the exam easy to paas.

Yes I went through Four rounds of Personal interview as admission process. There was no GD or written test for admission. I went through some basic defination and termonology of my BBA cousres and some current affairs. But the questions asked in the interview were designed in such a way which you can not prepare. the interviewer expecting and looking for spontanious responses to judge our critical thinkinh, decision making and communications skills.

No there is no GYM at campus. Library is fully stocked and peacefull. Hostel is available with decent location and food as well. There is many hangout places nearby college like painta, fusion, baithak. and the jagat market with shops for shoppings as well. Metro is also near to the campus. the surrounding is majorly students and is safe.
