About my college

I choose this course of food technology. Has i know there is a low people are going to select this course but there is opportunities for this course and the main aim is wastage of food in India is high so i need to control this after the completion of my degree I wish to start my own products which are helpful for the health. Some processed foods are not good for the health so i want to change this.

In the fourth year second semester we have internship with the food companies some of the companies give stay fund for the students as well as we can get a opportunity for the permanent placement. We are able to learn about the working skills and we can able to get a placement and we won't get problem during our work it is usefull there

After completion of the course students are divided to teachers and the food industries are come to college and interview us and the student is eligible they can select. Some standard food related companies are visited nestle, ITC mysore , sulawines and some other companies also. The CGPA of the students is 7.5 or more is good below this also get selected but more than 7.5 is good. My plan is after completion of course then do work and get some experience in the industries and some of the time I am going to select a product and launch it over the world.

My year wise fees is 58985 . For us sc students there is a benefit we won't pay fees per semester but we pay per year once and the total amount of fees is given by scholarship that is ssp . State government as well as central government both giving us scholarship when the scholarship has came then only we are going to pay for the college as along with this hostel mess bill for sc st students is 1200 per month and that also given by the scholarship. And in the second year last sem there is a nss camp to know about the society and make aware of the society through so many activities it can be possible. After 3 year first semester there is a AIT(all indian trip) for us, the university give us half of the amount which spent for the AIT. In the 4 year second semester there is internship regarding the food industries which we can apply to native food industry which we have and some of them give the stay fund also.

In our campus I am happy with everything programs are ongoing and celebration of festival and for the juniors there is a welcome party and for the 4 year students there is a farewell party . Regarding our course there is a so many books to refferal and some new books also purchased for the refference. Regarding the sports there is interclass and internal college sports and for that participants let off was provided.

In the room electricity, bed and cupboard, fans are available. I am not satisfied with the hostel food it is not good as so much for registration 10 thousand was paid first as refundable and per monthly we have to pay mess bill and there is gym facilities and hot water for bath taking .

I am satisfied with this college. Here are the good faculties and good classroom environment and comparing with the other colleges my college is good . Placement is there in our college. I applied this course and this college only firstly I got nursery in Belagavi i won't like that and I choose this college. Admission process of our college is only government seats there is no payment seats admission through the cet

All faculties are interactive with students some are very friendly with the students and they can understand the problem was pacing by the students and give suggestion to the students and there is a system of councellor for some students they take care of the students regarding the academic problem as well as personal. I like dr venu sir he is very friendly with me and ask everything is there any problem he is going to deal with that and he is very helpful regarding the academic. And also hod sir dr vishwanath angadi sir he also having very good knowledge regarding their subject and he try to build the students with very confident and he is try to avoid simple mistake has to be done by us. I won't like some faculties which are not properly doing classes and they may make favorisim. Exams are very strict and they won't give any extra marks there is a announced quiz for 10 marks and midterm for 15 marks and 10 marks for assignment and record and 5 marks for attendance and practical exam for 10 marks this is internal marks of 50 and there is a external exam for 50 marks 25 marks for objective and 25 marks for subjective out of fifty we have to 21 marks for pass the external exam including both the internal and external exam we to score minimum of 50 marks . Out of 62 students only 5 to 6 students are going to fail in a subject this not happening in all subjects.

Library is open upto 10 pm we sit there and read in the academic block we read in night also in the hostel also there is a steady room also and also in the night campus bakery and canteen also opened up to 9 . In the morning and evening there is gym in the indoor stadium we can make use of it.
