Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum covers all the important subjects like pharmacology, pharmaceutics, medical chemistry and pharmaceutical analysis. These subjects are highly relevant to the pharmaceutical field and help in building a strong foundation. The course include pratical lab session which help in understanding drug formulation, analysis and experiments. The exam system includes internal tests and semester exams. Exams are conducted regularly which helps on continuous learning. The difficulty level is moderate.

Internships Opportunities

5

My collage provide good internship opportunities with exposure to both industry and pratical work . Students get chance to intern with reputed pharmaceutical and healthcare companies. During the internship , students work on projects like drug quality analysis , preparation of formulations , maintaining laboratory records and assisting in clinical or hospital pharmacy operations.

Placement Experience

5

The placement scenario at tahira institute of medical sciences is especially robust, reflecting the institution commitment to student sucess . Students typically become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester allowing them ample time to build their technical skills and participate in pre placement training programs

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, scholarships are available for eligible students: Students from SC/ST/OBC categories can apply for government scholarships such as NSP (National Scholarship Portal). Scholarships are also available based on family income criteria. Some students get tuition fee reimbursement from the state government. Merit-based scholarships may also be provided by the college for students with good academic performance.

Campus Life

5

My overall experience with campus life has been increadibly vibrant and enriching offering S perfect balance between academic rigor and social engagement the social atmosphere is welcoming driven by a diverse student body and a highly active club culture wheather it's technical societies or culture groups there is a platform for every interest fostering a great sense of community and leadership

Admission

Choosing tahira institute of medical sciences was a well thought out decision besed on several key parameters primarily it's exceptional return on investment and academic reputation compared to other institutions where I had also applied but I choose this college because of its superior placement record in my specific branch and it's highly experienced faculty many of whom have significant industrial background regarding other applications I had initially aimed for government college but I couldn't make it past their family nal cutoff by a very slim margin due to the intense competition that year . The admission process in my collage war remarkably . Smooth and well organised. To be eligible I needed minimum of 60% in my 12 th class .

Faculty

5

The faculty members in my college qualified experienced and supportive. Most of them have good subject knowledge and explain topic clearly especially difficult subject like pharmacolgy and medical chemistry . The faculty to student I s around 1:50-20 which allow proper interaction between teacher and student. The relationship between faculty and students is friendly and respectful. Teachers are approachable and the student can easily ask doubts after class or during pratical class.

Night Life

5

The nightlife in and around our campus is vibrant and perfectly tailored to a student's lifestyle offering a great mix of relaxation and social interaction it provides the much needed downtime to unwind after a rigorous day of lectures and labs the campus stays alive well into the evening with facilities designed to accommodate both night owls and fitness enthusiasts

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are average, not very high but some companies do visit every year. Students become eligible for placements from final year, mostly from 7th or 8th semester. Companies are not very big mostly local or mid level pharma companies come. Some roles offered are like production, quality control and marketing. Highest package is not very high, around 3-4 LPA and average package is around 2-2.5 LPA. Percentage of students getting placement is not very high, maybe around 40-50% approx. Many students prefer to go for higher studies or try off campus jobs. My plan after completing degree is to look for job in pharma field or maybe go for higher studies depending on opportunity. Overall placement is okay but needs improvement.

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is average, not very high but also not too bad. Students become eligible for campus placement from 7th semester. Some companies visit the college but not many big companies comes regularly. Companies like small pharma companies and local companies visit and offer roles like production, quality control and sales. The highest package is around 3–4 LPA and average package is about 2–2.5 LPA. Number of offers is also limited and not all students get placed. Around 30-40% students get placement from campus, rest students have to search job on their own or go for higher studies. College gives some support but not very strong placement help. Because of this, many students including me are planning for higher studies or preparing for competitive exams to get better opportunities. Overall placement is okay but need improvement.
