An inside look at student life and extracurricular activities at DME

I chose this course because the curriculum includes subjects which are practical, carrier orriented and relevant to the business world. It focuses on areas like management , communication and decision making which are important for my future goals . The curriculum prepares me well for the real world applications by giving understanding of the business concepts. Whereas the timings of the exams are well managed , giving students enough time to prepare.

My college provided various internship and externship opportunities with various companies like Times group, wipro and Decathlon . Students are offered roles such as marketing intern , HR intern . Many of these internships provide a stipen which motivates the students and give them real work experience

The college provides extermships opportunities starting from the first semester itself which helps students gain exposure .My college also provides internships with reputed companies like wipro. Whereas they provides externship opportunities with Decathlon which help students gain industry experience . Around 87 percent of the student get placements throught canpus which reflects a good placement record.

Tentatively the fee structure of my college is 160000 p.a. My college provides value added courses that enhances my knowledge and help me for career opportunities. My college provides excellent infrastructural facilities including classrooms equipped with projectors . The college provides scholarships on the basis of merit.The fee structure is uniform for all the categories.

My college organized annual and technical festivals in the months of february to april which includes various competitions , cultural events and technical events that encourage student participation. There are various cell in the college like Entrepreneurship cell, Incubation centre, Oracle and Omegal cell. The library of the college has a good collection of books, journals and study materials related to different subjects . Students can easily access these resources for academic support. My college offers a variety of sports and extracurricular activities which helps students stay active and develop teamwork and leadership skills.

I applied to a few other colleges along with this college and receives confirmation from some of them . However I chose this college because it is close to my home which is more convinient and manageable to me . Travelling long distance daily would have been time consuming and tiring . I havent faced rejection but in some colleges i could not take that college because it was too far from my home so distance was a important factor in my decision making. The admission process was simple and smooth whereas the cut off was moderate , making it easier for students to get admission.

The faculty to student ratio is balanced which helps in better interaction between students and teachers. The faculty members are friendly, supportive and approachable . Students feel comfortable asking questions and clearing their doubts which creates a positive learning environment .There are several faculty members I really likes because of their teaching style and supportive nature . They explain the concepts in a simple and a clear way . The college conducts regular exams including internal assessments and semester exams . The couse curriculum is relevant and useful for both academic knowledge and future career growth

There is a open gym in the campus whereas a cafeteria with affordable prices and proper hygiene is maintained . The cafeteria is convinient for student to enjoy food and spend time during breaks . There is no night life in my college and proper discipline is maintained , ensuring a safe and focused environment for everyone. Our campus is disable friendly . Whereas our campus has library which is accessible to all the students . Our library has good collection of books and academic related materials of different subjects.
