Likes
- The Year academic fee is around 84,000 and exam fee is ₹46,000 making total 1.3,00,000 per year, bus fee is ₹47,500. The course cost is around 5 to 5.5,00,000 rupees stable with slight yearly increase
- The gender ratio is around 60 ratio, 40 boys ratio girl in CSE IOT and cyber security. Boys are more but girls participation is increasing every year, creating a balanced environment.
- Faculty member are well, qualified and supportive. Most have good subject knowledge and help in clearing doubt some average over teaching decent.
Dislikes
- The curriculum is some outdated in some subject. More practical industry based learning could be added student of need to relay on self study for advanced skills.
- Crowd is quite high, especially in CSE branches which increases competition and sometimes affects individual attention from faculty
- Transport and other additional charges like exam feel a bit high compared to the actual facilities provided
Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate the course curriculum around 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness.i chose the course because it includes modern subjects like iot , cybersecurity and blockchain, which are in demand in the industry
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for BTech CSCIOT cyber security, including Block chain at Chandigarh. Group of colleges, Cgc Landrum is quite affordable, compare to many private colleges. In my case the academic fee is ?84,000 and the exam fee is 4600 per semester. making the total academic cost around ?88,600 per year. Additionally, I pay around ?47,500 per year for bus transport facility.
Campus Life
Overall, my campus lives experience at stage Landour has been quite good, especially in terms of social interaction and extra curricular exposure. Environment is friendly and student from different background interact easily which help in personal growth. The college organised an annual cultural and technical face like Parivartan ovation usually held between February to April April, these cultural performance is coding competition, haathon and various fun activities making campus life more engaging
Admission
I applied to a few other private colleges like Chandigarh University and LPU , and i also explored some government colleges. I got confirmed admissions offers fron provate universities, but i chose CGC landran because it offers a good balance of affordable fees , decent placements, and location advantage. Compare to other, Cgc has lower fees and a disciplined academic environment.
Faculty
The faculty at Cgc Landra is mix of experience and young teachers. The faisal difficulty to student ratio is around one 2225, which is decent. Most faculty members are approachable and helpful, especially during particals and doubt sessions. They are supportive if students show interest in learning.
Night Life
Nightlife around New Zealand is not very happening like Metro city, but students was still find way to relax and enjoy after classes inside the campus facilities like the library, cafeteria and public area. Usually close by evening around 6:55 PM while the gym timing are limited to daytime hours for hostels. There are fixed in timings around 8:53 PM depending on role so late late night moment is strict inside the campus. Our hostel student often spend time together in Room watching movie gaming or studying in groups.
