"IIITDM Jabalpur" College Review

The quality of Teaching is as usual as in College of National Importance like NIT and IIT. There are Many Clubs and Organisations for Extra Curricular activity. The Placement here are only good if you are from CSE department.

The Course Curriculum is Same as of Colleges with National Importance which is Decided by the MHRD , the Organisation that handles major Management of Colleges likes Funds , Course etc. The Exam Structure consists of 2 Quizzes , 1 Mid-semester and 1 End-semester exam.

Talking About Placements the College Average Package is around 5 lacs For CSE Department i.e who goes for placement in IT companies. For ECE and MECHANICAL only one or Two company comes and takes 2-3 students each with package around 8 lacs. This College Provides Internship mainly for CSE department.

The Cultural Club Fest "TARANG" is most Famous Fest in this College. Second comes "ABHIKALPAN" The Technical Fest and third comes "GUSTO" The Sports Fest. Under Each fest of of the Sports , Cultural club Activities and Technical Activities and Competitions are covered. It's Central India's Biggest Fest.

The Fees Structure is Divided into Two Categories: The "Academic+Hostel " Fees which is Around ?75000 per semester for 2019 batch and the second is "MESS" Fees which is ?10000 per semester. Comparing to other NITs and IIITs the fees is around Same as them.

The College doesn't offer any Loan Facility for Payment of Fees. You need to take loan from external sources. The College though offers scholarship for students whose Family Income is below 2.5 lacs and Scholarship Name is MCM under which you get your Tuition fees back at End of Semester.

We have Three Category Under Gymkhana which Manages the Funding of Clubs that are Cultural Clubs , Technical Clubs and Sports Club which Organise Fest at National Levels. Under these Clubs there are total 27 clubs combined in these Categories. You can get to perform at National Level if you do well in Clubs.

The Hostel Infrastructure is good. It's a three Bedroom Room for B.Tech Undergraduate Students. They Provide you With Internet Facility to each one of you providing personal LAN port. The Cost for Hostel per semester is just 6000 Rs.

There's Alumni Network but it just got started properly but Alumni are very Helpful for Getting Referrals on Companies if you have proper required Skills. They Also Help Financially if Fund is Required for Any Technical Clubs Competitions.

I got admission through JEE Mains Examination. Then there will be CAP Rounds in which you need to fill preferences and You will get College According to your Rank. Then you need to Come to College for Seat Confirmation and Pay the Fees.

The Faculty of my College are having Good Experience in Teaching specially of Mechanical Department. There way of Teaching is same as of IIT and NIT Teachers. Some of them always relate subject to practical life.
