- The RNSIT college GOOD teaching methods and lecturer's but need to improve in class arrangements .
- RNSIT has a very large campus with GOOD infrastructure and nice placement training for career advancement.
- RNSIT has good support for other activities as in sports, higher studies and other career options.
Dislikes
- There are many social activities to interact but I have less interest in campus life other than studies.
- In spite of having sports we were not given many opportunity in it.
- The course of ECE has led me to different paths in professional aspects though I may have got confused and choose not a particular path.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course has been given us in different paths like in VLSI domain, web-development and software domain ,etc. The real wold application was thought fewer semesters like about renewable source of energies , about copy rights and petant. The exam timings have been made different in even and odd semester like morning and afternoon , but everyone perfers afternoon timeings.
Fees and Financial Aid
The four year of BE in Electronics and communication engineering fee structure is where as , I come under SC/ST category through KCET I got my seat in RNSIT according to which yearly fees is as follows , first year-Rs.1,00,686 , second year-Rs.1,03,241 , Third year - Rs.1,06,091 and fourth year - Rs.1,07,441 . There was a small registration fees alloted by KCET of Rs.500 and an exam fee of Rs.3000 only in first year. The form of fee structure to students came through are COMEDK and management fee , where the fee structure is between Rs.2,00,000 and Rs.2,50,000 each year through COMEDK . By managemet fee differs from each course to other but on an average the fee structure is between Rs.4,00,000 and Rs.6,50,000 during 2022-23. But , it may have differ now as RNSIT got its autonomous college recently . I did not recive any scholarships.
Campus Life
There are many technical fests and many other fests conducted every year and RNSIT have many achivements in sports also in every game at inter college level and few state level .There many clubs in each branch but i have not paticipated in them . We have a very large and huge library which can accomidate thousands of students at once with books realated to every branch.We have larfe classrooms with projectors in it.
Admission
Based on my KCET rankings and category based I choose the best available option in college selection. our college comes in one of the top colleges with large campus, good infrastructure with good average package in placements in every branch.I acutally had some other college in mind to join but in 2022 KCET had some problems and rankings got changed and In I may have lacked in one of the subject KCET exam.Admission process is simple because there is an entire block to support and guide in addmission process.
Faculty
In my branch ECE there are many qualified faculties members to teach each subject but I can say one thing more than half of the faculties are more into each domain of subjects and help us in different projects and learning programming languages. The exams sturature in RNSIT in each semester is 3 internals and 1 external exam , each exam of 100 marks .The 3 internals is taken best 2 out 3 most of the time but few times all 3 internal exams is consided.
Night Life
I am a day-scholar student but I know few things as the student who are staying college hostel which is inside the campus have access to library, gym garden , ground till night 11pm , but every student have can use every thing till night 8pm after that day-scholar students cannot stay.There are many affordable stores for all purpose and hangout amd famous places are many.
