My College Review

I Have enjoyed my college to the fullest and am more than happy I got an opportunity to study in one the reputed college chains of our country. For a person like me who couldn't afford expensive Graduation, this was the best option available for me as I have grown to a mature man with enough knowledge to build my career ahead all thanks to my college. And yes the Discipline of this College is Top Notch.

Overall I am satisfied with the course and the offering of the college. The best facilities for learning this course is provided by this college and it has the best faculties from the field. Indeed one of the best in the state of Jharkhand.

Placement for bachelor's is very poor and the college does provide for internship if you are capable enough. But getting a No objection Certificate is no less of a headache as the Head of department needs to be approached on time to get one.

The college celebrates a number of events throughout the year and also holds a variety of sports events. To name a few is the famous Xavier's Utsav and the Gandhi Jayanti Celebration. Events like football and cricket tournament are some of the enjoyable ones held by our college.

The fee of this college is very nominal for the the offerings it provides to you. You have the option to pay the fee in instalments as well. The fee for my course is 51,300INR which is very affordable as compared to some private colleges.

Scholarships are available by the Government for the Sc/St and Obc students who can apply for it and appear for a small test and if qualified they are Granted a small scholarship amount which is sufficient enough to fund a whole year of their education.

The college has proper lab facilities for all courses and indeed the best in Ranchi. Regarding Sports there are various sports events held every year and the college also hosts an annual sports meet for the students.

No. I haven't opted for Hostel as Hostel facilities are available only for the Christian students. I had to settle in a PG nearby as due to lack of Hostel facilities people around have developed a good network of PG business at affordable prices.

The students and alumni of this College are all working in good companies and have made it to the field in my course with minimal struggle. To be honest they have shown us that nothing is impossible to achieve if you work hard for it and you don't need to pay expensive fees for a private college as you can do better here itself.

The college requires a minimum marks criteria to qualify to sit in the entrance exam and then you have to clear the entrance exam. For my course the minimum marks you require in your 12th is 50% overall after which you can apply for admission and appear for a test.

We were taught by few of the best faculties from the field where few even have won national awards in film making. They have done lot of great documentaries and have also published numerous books on the works.
