About my college life

Negative point is that lack of unity between hostlers and dayscholars. Positive point is all I think which I mentioned above. And also the location of the college is well good. Is near to the market. near to the railway station. every thing you can get near by the college.

Course are well scheduled as according to the gate syllabus and the market, exam structure is like in every SEM you have to give 2 mid sem exam that is of 20 marks.(avg of the two mid sem exam ) and 70 marks in end SEM exam and 10 marks are of quiz and assignments, same in every subjects and courses. And if talking about tha syllabus it is regularly maintained by the respective departments and make their own syllabus as it is autonomous college, it's the best part of the college.

Placements basically varies from department to department. as for branches like mechanical,automobile,electrical and chemical. placements are not quite good. as lack of core companies here. But students from these branches do well in gate exams. as in every year many students cracks gate with good ranks and talking about the it branches cs and it and EC these branches are good in placement. as every student got package of avg 6 lakh in these branches and after that it depend your intelligence how could you make it. But college will provide lot of chances.

The college is full of events, it orgnises so many events related to every filed like sports , music, dance, soft skills, personality development,etc, various clubs are there which are very active and are full of events. NCC and NSS are also there in the college which are also very active and you can join them.

As college is govt aided so fees are readable in every branch. Some of the branches are not govt aided like automobile , electronics and telecommunication and biotechnology, these courses have little bit high fees. For govt aided fees is as for 1 year it is 1lakh and after that it 76k every year.

As it is govt aid college so it does not provide its own scholarship and also the loan facilities. I don't know much about it. But tfw is there in which 2-3 students which are higher in merit in the counselling phase get the scholarship in every branch. And there are some scholarships for sc and st's but not for the upper caste. But you can apply to other scholarship sources.

As I already mentioned in the event coloumn. College organises a lot of events and also you can form your own club there. And can organise events and activities which you are interested. So it's upon you. You can make the use of it or not. College will provide you the platform in every field.

I m actually localite so I do not have the experience of the college hostel life. But I have heard from my batchmates those who live there that previous hostel was not quite good. But now recently new hostle buildings are constructed which are very much better. And also living in hostel have its own merit and demerit. So we can't judge the hostel life. We us have to develop for that habitat.

Yes, offcourse there is always a meet of the alumni. They come and give the ideas and need of the market what they want. Which is very helpful for us. Which motivates us and also it ables us to know about the different job scenario.

I got admission in this college through jee main examination. Only through this exam you can enter in this college for various courses, after the declaration of the ranks in the jee mains exam you can opt this college through mp counselling which scheduled after the 3-5 weaks of the jee mains result. and on the basis of merit you can opt various courses here.

In my opinion you can't get faculty like this in the whole mp colleges. Most of the faculties are from the nitian and iitian so don't worry about the faculty if you will walk with them definitely you will be successful. faculties are the best in every department.
