MY COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Environment is good and supportive. A little bit more stress on academics. No awareness about careers after graduation is done, this is the biggest negative point which I felt. Labs are not open to personal projects sometime.

Course consists of 4 years i.e., 8 semesters, each subject was of 125 marks each in that 25 marks of internal assessment tests and 100 marks of semester exams. In addition to subjects we had atleast 2 lab courses each semester which is of 50 marks each.

The course structure doesn't allow internship in it. But, one can do internship in vacations, placement cell helps in that. Coming to placements, job opportunities are there , branches like ECE, CSE doing good, mechanical below average and civil almost nil.

Throughout the year many events are celebrated. Aura, geneysis, Oculus and many more. Nearly every month during classes period we had events. Aura is a cultural event which is very famous among other events, it is a 3 days event, last day a renowned singer come to college for a performance.

For students of Karnataka, Goa and Maharashtra it is very less, while for others it is expensive. There are two ways through which one can take admission into the college, one way is only for local students and other way is COMEDK exam which is open to all. Through COMEDK nearly 15 percent seats are there and rest are for locals.

Very few scholarship offers are there, if someone's project is approved they can get full waiver on project and also got chance to showcase project in other countries and all are sponsored from college.

Events are happening almost monthly, labs are good, only a few labs need modernization but expect them rest are quite good, gym is also there in college campus for students which is also good. On sports most famous is football and basketball and apart from these games nothing is famous and playground size is just like a football ground. Size is less to play sports

Not opted, but friends who have opted paid around 22k yealy without food. Hostel infrastructure is just average. And facilities are also average. Ragging and those kind of activities are very rare. So, we can rate 4 out of 5

Yes, alumni network is good, meeting and get together happening. They are also helpful as some become expert in some field and others in something else. We are connected through college network and it's web.

Entrance examination COMEDK then got result and after that we have to go to Bangalore for counselling, in 3rd round I got admission in college I wanted. So I booked my seat and went to college to make remaining payment and take admission.

Few of them are extraordinary, few are good, most of them are average or below average. Supportive environment. Learning environment is there, one must push himself here to that. Teachers are very helpful in nature.
