The college gained autonomy by year 2007 and has been rated very good by all surveys. College works with good intent and looks to make a better future for it's inmates.
Entrance Preview
CET, As I could not get through CET for computer science, I decided to go for paid seat. The admission process was easy and organized. They will put up a list of required documents and photocopies on notice board. You can arrange all the things accordingly and submit.
Course Curriculum Overview
The CS branch offers good course subjects which are evenly divided in semesters. The faculty always appreciates and supports projects (even off the course curriculum) which align to latest technology. CS branch has sufficient staff with good experience who guide students to make their career path and also train them well for campus hirings.
Internships Opportunities
Not much idea on the internship. But college is open to such ideas and if there are opportunities they will allow.
Placement Experience
Every year, the college has mandatory visits from major Indian IT firms like TCS, Wipro and Infosys. Apart from that MNCs like Nokia, IBM and other reputed companies also visit for fresh talent pool in the campus. Few central government firms like BEL have also made their visit for Campus recruitments.
College Events
Majorly there will be two fests in a year conducted by two fun clubs which actively work apart from college curriculum. The fest last for 3-4 days with al kinds of competitions, graffiti,tech expo and a big stage event. There is another technical club which focuses mainly on soft skill development and hosts training for the same purpose.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are scholarships provided by the college in the name of founder which will help one student from every branch with some monitory benefits.
Campus Life
In a semester there will be 5-6 activities each on sports, technical projects, group discussions and also cultural programs. The clubs which work after study hours help students to involve in their hobbies and enhance their soft skills. All labs are well equipped, sufficient (not on shared basis) to handle the strength.
Alumni/Alumna
There are alumni groups which meet once in a while. Not much active at the campus. But most of the meets happen off the campus or even in Bangalore.
