College Review

Positive : 1. Govt. College 2. Fee is good 3. Location and infrastructure is good. And many more. Negative : 1. Requires proper management 2. Canteen improvement needed. 3. College buses needed to be changed

Course Curriculum is good , now some latest courses has been introduced. Exam Structure is like one sem is of 6 months , we have to give 3 mid sems , then internals after completion of course and then externals then in the last month of sem there be End sem exam.

Placements are fair enough , means every year there is avg. Package of 4-5 lacs sometimes it increases depends on company visited. But now placement cell is improving since last year. Common Companies visits every year are TCS , Infosys,HCL, wipro ,etc. According tO MHRD now its compulsory to do Intership every year for an engineer. For this every year we have to do 90 hrs intership. Sometimes our college provide interships, sometimes we have find it with our own.

Lets started with the beginning of session , very first event every year is Induction Program conducted for First year students by Seniors. It is of 1-2 weeks , then comes Ganesh Chaturthi 11 days there will be various cultural programs , then sports meet MAHASANGRAM , then cultural fest SHANKNAD, a tech fest CONVOLUTION , and various seminars , various events are conducted according to occasion but above mentioned are permanent one.

As it is a Govt. Autonomous , fee structure is very feasible for every section of society. Fee is ?30282 FOR one year , either you can pay at one time or in parts like 16k in first sem then 14k in next sem. But there is also a Fee waiver option for those who can't afford this much amount.

There is no such scholarship offered by our college. But you can avail it through counseling , as it is Autonomous college every scholarship is provided here is by govt. Like fee waiver , on basis of cast , on the basis of merit. And other details regarding this can be asked from college.

Extracurricular activities are excellent here, every year there are many events related to this , every year there is a cultural fest called SHANKNAD, tech fest CONVOLUTION. labs are now well equipped and according to latest curriculum , Sports complex is in under construction , it will be completed soon. Every year there are many events related to sports.

No, I am a day boarder. But some of my friends live in hostel, and i went hostel many times , Its infrastructure is good and facilities are also good. Atmosphere is also good. Security is high. For a outside it will be tough for him/her to enter without any genuine reason. There is separate hostel for girls and boys.

Since 2016 it is improving. There is a organisation called ECELL ( www.ecellrgpv.cf) , it provides you a platform for your startup. By this you can connected to your seniors and it is very helpful. They always try to make you connect with companies working techniques and provides guidance from pass out students.

Firstly I had given entrance exam i.e JEE MAINS and then filled counseling form in MP dte counseling ( counseling for MP Govt. Autonomous ,Govt. Aided,Self Financing , Private colleges) , then I was alloted a seat in UIT RGPV. Then I had to went college on given date and confirm my admission by paying fee and other procedures.

Faculties are good here. In lower semester you will probably get teachers who are currently pursuing Ph.D in that college. But most of the faculty are Ph.D or M.E or M.tech. All faculty are well educated. As the college is Govt. Autonomous , faculty got job here with a high criteria when they meet college level criteria.
