Good college in West Godavari

There are no such negative points in the college inspite being one of the top engineering colleges in the district of West Godavari. The placements and well experienced faculty are the only things to be improved in the college remaining all being excellent.

The course circullum is good in our Andhra university which generally covers maximum topics involved in the subject which indeed are to be known for a student , excepting some subjects in which a vast topic is just given just as a chapter in the subject. The examination structure is okay but the problem comes where the exams will be conducted continuosly day by day by not even giving time to cover all the topics in half day. And also the supplimentary semester exams will be conducted only once a year along with the regular examination which would be a drawback for few.

Placements are being improved in the recent years. CRT classes and softskills classes are being conducted inorder to make the students good at the interviews. College does not provide any internship or stipend for students.

Every year a technical fest or cultural fest will be organised inorder to improve students skills not only in academics but also in extra curricular activities. College annual day will be celebrated every year having sports and cultural events. Appreciation for the students good at academics , sports , cultural activities will be done at the event along with many other activities.

Fee structure used to be economical but it's been expensive in the recent years which is being a problem to many students studying on scholarship , as they get only a minor amount of fee reimbessment and the remaining has to be paid by the students, This being a burden to some students.

Our college does not offer any kind of loan or scholarship to the students. It doesn't provide any type of financial assistance to the students.if any loans required for the education has to be taken from the banks on our personal interest and risk.

Our college gives a good platform for sports and cultural activities. College has a vast ground proving all facilities for the sports and encourages a lot by improving them day by day. The college also has cultural clubs which conducts many interesting events improving both academics and cultural participation.

I used to be dayscholar but the hostel is good and the emenities and security in the hostel is nice. The hostel food is good as my classmates used to stay in the college hostel for all the four years.

Alumni network is not that active upto now, I think it would work in the future as the social media has developed alot commutation made easy. If that would happen it will help a lot the students in having good advices and opportunities from their seniors.

I've been admitted through the counsilling of Andhra Pradesh EAMCET in the civil engineering course in sir crr college of engineering.I've opted for about 10 colleges in my councelling of EAMCET and got the admission in this college which I've opted as the fifth option in the councelling. initially Ive registered for the EAMCET councelling by submitting all my certificates and Mark lists and rank card of the examination and paid a fee of 600 for the process and been given a scratch card containg my login details and password for the web option selection process. With that details I've done with the web options by opting the colleges I'd like to join by giving them preferences. From the colleges I've selected been given a college for the rank I've got in the EAMCET. I've been given 10 days to visit the college and make my admission. There is an option of second councelling if you are not satisfied with the college you've got in the councelling by which you can again select colleges in web option process and furtherly you'll be given an admission based on your choice of college and your rank and vacancies.

More experienced and we'll qualified faculty are to be employed where now they are limited despite of having good faculty now. Recruiting fresher's is good in a way but also having experienced faculty is also important at the same time inorder to have good teaching to the students along with their experiences.
