Don't worry It's no less than an IIT

You may feel in starting that it's not a IIT but , when you reach 3 and 4 year you realise you have great opportunity here also , only thing you need to do is put on full effort to able to grab the opportunity

Whether IT it or ECE , all get placed with equal probability. The course is way too different from other college. It was recently revised in 2018. Eg. What other students study in their fourth year hear we are taught that in 2 or 3rd year. The recent revision further made changes ( like 2nd course we're shifted to 1st year).

Colleges has A techFest named Aparoksha having Hackathon Coding Challenges, Capture the Flag challenge, workshop about making Bots , Cloud computing , Cyber security and load of more events. Cultural fest : Effervescence 3 day event , having many informal events and celebrity night , and many more main stage events In short three day of full fun Sports fest : Asmita Again fun for 3 day having maximum sports events , from track events to swimming , football and etc. Games mentioned in sports section.

Fee structure is 70k per semester+ mess fee for general category students for SC, ST, Pwd tution fee is zero.,so it's 12k + mess fee. Scholarship are also available it totally depends on your family income if you can afford it or not. Fee changes each semester ( probably decreases).

If your parents income is less a 5 lakhs per annum and you performed well in Examination ( GPA above 8.5) you can apply for a scholarship. Their are multiple types of scholarships ,( by state govt.s , College etc.)

There are Multiple Sports to play ranging from Cricket , Football, badminton ,Table Tennins ,Lawn Tennis , Swimming , Sqaush , Snooker , Chess , Carrom, Basketball , Volleyball , ( all of these have a dedicated courts). And Multiple (12+ ) Computer labs are their with Intel i5. Big data analytics lab , VLSI lab , Graphic and Img processing lab etc., And their are multiple labs for ECE students also.

Hostel are quite good as compared to other Govt. Colleges( Even some IIT's) as you can buy a cooler for summers , they provide you with a Cot, wardrobe , study table and chair. Max num of students living in a room is 2 and that too for 1st and 2nd year. From 3rd year onwards you get a single accommodation. If you have a medical issue you can ask for a single accommodation from 1st year with a valid proof

Alumni network is very good Ranging , All of them are in renowned MNC so you can contact them for Guidance , also while in college you can ask your senior for help even if you don't know then they will surely help.

As per your JEE mains Ranking ,( range keeps fluctuating , for Btech IT it's AIR up to 7000 ) You get the college allowed via JoSAA. Once allotment is done you need to report on dates provided and the Further formalities are done .

Faculties are helpful and teach good (if you listen to them) lecture sometimes are boring but not always. they are also available for solving doubts if you have any. Max faculties are PhD in their field.
