Quality of education and life in west UP private colleges

There is nothing like ragging and senior and juniors are friends. Strictness is there in college. Attendance is one and only requirement of management and faculties and it should not be case. Management is not much supportive in extra curricular activities. New technologies should be introduced by college. Even students are lazy and usually don't participate in activities organised by college. So somewhere even students are responsible for their loss to new fast pacing technology world.

UTTAR PRADESH TECHNICAL University in not offering subject about latest technologies. Most of the subjects and technologies are outdated and now University is trying to change that but still pace of change is very slow. In one semester there will be 1 University exam(external semester exam), one pre-university exam(internal), 2 sessional exams (internal). Now No. Of subjects are less for 2018-22 and 2019-23 batches compared to our 2015-16-17 batches

Placements are not at same level as other NIT,IITs or BIT. If you are skilled and smart enough then you will definitely get campus placement with decent package. Most of the companies are mass recruiter so competition level will not be that high. But still tests your knowledge and skills. College will not provide any type of assistance in internship. You have to get internship on your own.

There are not many events celebrated in college. There is only one annual college fest. And one technical fest Extra curricular activities are just formalities. Management and students both are responsible for this.

Academic fee is almost same as of other private colleges in area. But less than private colleges in NOIDA, Gurgaon,DELHI. Academic fee is around 90-95 thousand per year and 7-8 thousand is University examination fee.

You can get scholarship offered by your state government to students and if you have good percentage in 12th class or entrance exams then college will also give you scholarship and academic fee will be much less than regular.

Extra curricular activities are not appreciated by management. Syllabus and marks are the priority. Labs are just okay. Only one sport event and that is organised by students, no support from management. Labs could be better with implementation of new technologies like AI, machine learning and other latest technologies. Currently they can support everything related to syllabus.

Infrastructure is just okay. Mess food is not a plus point for hostel. You will get almost all basic facilities but will definitely miss some like no A.C rooms available and canteen is not 24*7. Hostel fee is reasonable and around 55-60 thousand for two seater room

Yes they are helpful and will definitely help you in future. If you want guidance then they are willing to guide you. Nothing much like a network of alumni but still you can get to them if you want and College also organised an alumni meet in 2018.

Based on my 12th class marks. I was eligible for getting admission in this college. They asked me about my JEE MAINS exam marks and 12th board marks and then i got admission in this college. Entrance exam conducted by uttar pradesh technical University is also and eligibility criteria and more you score in that entrance exam more will be your scholarship

Faculty is good if you want to study about syllabus but not good enough to support students for extra curricular activities. Some teachers are good and want over-all development of students. Attendance is most important factor for most of the faculties and for college management also.
