SVNIT is mainly famous for its placement

College administration is not that much helpful to the students. Proper funds are not provided to the students clubs. Some internal corruption is also there. Some positive things are college gives good attention to research areas.

There are 6 branches: 1.Electronics and Communication 2.Electrical 3. chemical 4. computer 5. civil 6. mechanical Those branches are for bachelor s program in engineering. There are post graduate also. Also applied science is there in the following fields 1. Applied physics 2. Applied chemistry 3. Applied mathematics 4. applied mechanics (PG) Curriculum is based on the modern day education. Extracurricular activities are also there. You will get more knowledge and skills from certain clubs in the college. Overall curriculum is effective.

Placement of this college is the second best in entire Gujarat after IIT Gandhinagar. The highest placement package for 2018-19 was Rs.39.5 Lacs per annum. Average was 8 Lacs per annum. Lowest was 3.5 lacks per annum.

Sparsh is celebrated in the month of February.There are certain day events as well as cultural night event s like Singing, Dancing, celebrity night and comedy night. Day event have certain technical as well non technical events. Workshops are also conducted.In 2019 , the Nights were cancelled and the money was donated to Bharat Ka Veer portal because of the unfortunate Pulwama attacks. Shamiyana: Singing and Dancing event conducted by CHRD Svnit. Certain events are conducted by the clubs. Sports event : MMNCT , Ignis, Inter NiT sports.

Fee structure for B.tech is Rs. 125,000 per annum. But for different income groups fee remission is available. Those who have income less than 1 lac are given full fee remission and those whose income is less than 5 Lacs are given 1/3 fee remission.

Every scholarship is provided by the state government, central government and certain NGOs. College doesn't provide any scholarships but will help you to get information on certain scholarship. For Loan facilities you can contact to the college administration

Extra curricular activities are overall good. There are clubs like CHRD ,Akriti , Convex, hindi cell ,lac which you can join. Labs are equipped with modern amenities. For sports, college has one gymnasium, one ground, two tennis courts, two basketball courts and many other sports facilities.

If you rate hostel on the scale of 10 than i will give it 7/10. There are 6 boys hostel and 1 girls hostel. In first year Btech boys get double sharing room. While girls live in only one hostel single rooms. There are mess facility , night canteen, sports , laundry facilities provided in the hostels.

We have a alumni chapter known Svnit alumni association which is managed by generous alumnus of the college. The senior s are very helpful. Alumni association has a website which frequently post about jobs.

I got admission through JEE Mains. After securing the cut off , I participated in Josaa counseling. There are many colleges under this. You have to select the college name. If you have good rank in JEE Mains matching last year criteria ( not Guaranteed if it will be the same every year) then you will get selected.

Faculty of Electrical, Mechanical can be rated as the best. Civil , Chemical and Comp have average. EC has the worst faculty. Although due to new recruitment the scenario is Changing and good faculties are being induced.
