Good college for mechanical engineering

Infrastructure of college is very great but placements could be far better.core companies which are visiting every year are less. The only placements provided are related to IT irrespective of branches. Even though some core companies visiting the campus they recruit very less number of people 5 to 6 members.

The college is Affiliated to Jntu kakinada University. So course curriculum is good. They have introduced us a mechanical software creo which is very good course and useful during our time. In 2018 college attained autonomous status so the curriculum developed based on the latest industrial requirements by introducing 3 more labs automation lab, automobile lab, manufacturing latest technologies.

Not so good especially for 2017 2018 passed outs. Better for 2019 passed outs. Mostly IT firms visiting the campus. Core companies are less frequent and even though they visit they recruit in very less numbers.

MEA celebrate every year which is a seperate fest for mechanical engineering students. Seperate department fests will be celebrated by respective branches. Annual day is celebrated by the entire college. College fest is not regular. It was celebrated once in my 4 years of graduation

Fee structure is moderate and it is 73000 per annum. Additional 50000 per annum if opted for hostel. Fee reimbursement will be provided based on the rank, caste, reservations based on the state government policies

Loan will be provided in the college for required students and there is canara bank in college itself so if one got sanctioned loan then there will be no problem till their completion of course. They will provide upto 8 lakhs in graduation period. Scholarships will be based on the students profile and their community and caste given by state government which will be taken care by administrative office in college.

Labs are very good. There are many labs almost related to every specialisation. We can use any lab during the project work. New labs introduced from 2019. Labs are well maintained. One can play Sports after their class hours till 7 pm.

Nope i have not stayed in hostel but i know that mens hostels are worse but there are many rooms for rent near college which are very good and for food requirements one can use college till 8 pm. For girls the hostel may be good.

No idea. Once in my four years of graduation they introduced 3 seniors and they interacted with us gave ideas. But i think alumni network is not so good cause if that is good it would have helped to get more placements as number of companies which will recruit should increase

Through EAMCET a state government entrance examination. After getting rank i opted for different colleges based on preference through web options, later i got the mechanical branch in MVGR college. I joined here

Faculty are good, Almost 35 members of faculty in mechanical engineering branch, 15 members have their phd. Almost all members are from reputed educational institutions. And many are higly experienced.
