Aakansha Agrawal's Review On Maulana Azad National Institute Of Technology - [MANIT], Bhopal

The four year journey in this college will be roller coaster ride with many experiences you will come out through. The positiveness of this college is the legacy which has been prevailed since years and this makes "manitians" students of it (we often called ourselves as manitians ) different from others.

Course curriculum includes all basic or core branches of technology like Civil, computerscience etc. And all the branches had got separate rankings for the choice fillings during counseling. If you lock the choice you are granted during different rounds you have to take admission on that particular branch. For the exam structure in this college, it will have total 8 semesters in which one semester will have 3 exams that are minor, mid and end sem exam categorized on the basis of marks.

Placements and jobs are completely dependent on our training and placement cell how they attract the companies and bring them for the students welfare. College does not provide internship at their own but they may bring companies for providing internships.

There are various events held every year in the college premises which are being organised by different technical and cultural societies. Some of the grand event may includes technosearch, maffick, tooryanaad , etc in which apart from the college, students from the different colleges take part in huge number.

In our time it was same for all the students except some benefits were given to reserved categories but now it is categorized on the basis of income. So for the ones who finds it difficult to pay, it is now feasible for them too.

Since it is the college of national importance, all the scholarship / loan facilities depends on the central govt, which they allotted for all the NITs. Based on reservations or other criterias, students can avail scholarships.

labs are well euipped with the mandatory machines, equipments etc. For sports, all the indoor outdoor games are there with Trainors. Students do participate in the internit sports competitions too.

There are about 10-11 hostels in our campus and for girls only one hostel has been granted but its a big hostel spread over a large area with good infrastructure. Facilities are also upto the mark as students own the mess and for other facilities 24 hour guards, electricity, water, cleaning arranged by the department.

There is one website being made exclusively for the alumni meet and their support which is manitalumni meet. Senior students are helpful right from the first year and their relations getting stronger with time. They will be like your friend and always try to help you out with every possible way.

I had appeared for the JEE mains exam in 2014 and got rank on the basis of normalized score which was cumulative of 12th class academic score and mains paper score. Then on the basis of counselling by csab, i had opted for the colleges by choice filling and according to the rank wise availability , I had entered into this college

The faculties in this college are well experienced. At this age of student, if student might seek help from any faculty they will help them in any possible way. I would say after leaving the college I have realized that their guidance is bliss and we can make ourselves more benefitted by their help during the session.
