Negative remark : College is far from airport and also the train communication is 22 kms from here. Positive remark: You can get education here at a very low fee and that too with a quality as it is a government college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is oriented accordingly as that of IIT Kharagpur. It's quite good to have a complete and effective curriculum. Exam structure is like that of most colleges. You have internal as well as external exams.
Placement Experience
Placements have increased recently in the college as more number of companies have started visiting the campus. A large number of companies have shown interest in providing Internship.This is accompanied by the different types of stipend and all. Mostly TATA Steel provides the internship in college and thereby the amount is about 30k -40k per month.
College Events
Cultural Fest BITTANSH- It is the Annual Cultural fest of B.I.T Sindri.Last year the guest was Asit Tripathy. Technical fest - The three clubs in collaboration run a fest in B.I.T Sindri.They have better management and good vision.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's feasible for common public.You need to pay almost 50k in a year. You are almost reading free of cost in the college. You need not worry about the expenses covered or not in the college. You will also get a better idea of expenses when you reach here.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are provided by the alumni as well as the Jharkhand government. There are different scholarships also through good performances in examinations.Once you get into the college you can get a loan too through the banks.
Campus Life
Labs and extra activities are good. Sports is one of the major field in which this college excels. You have industrial labs and also different types of high tension and nano technology labs. The college had got a vast area for research.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors and alumni are completely helpful. Once you reach them they will never disappoint you.The form of help they can give you varies.It can be monetary too.They also help you in other works such as career management and life management.
Admission
Earlier you needed to clear JCECE examination. But now admission is through JEE Main.You need to clear JEE Main exam and then apply for Jharkhand State Counselling.You need to be a local resident of Jharkhand. Just after the counseling visit the college and take admission.
Faculty
Good faculties are present here.They will help you in every aspect. Mostly the new faculties are more supportive towards you and also there are more number of new faculties in the college.Most of the faculty hail from IIT'S AND NIT'S and that gives you an edge.
