Positive remarks - Autonomous college, less fee, good and supportive faculty, cultural activities, Campus is full of greenery. Negative remarks - Poor placements, Confusing course - curriculum, high re-exam fee, Old syllabus.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had taken Telecommunication Engineering as course and I can comment on only that. The course curriculum is a bit confusing at the beginning but one will get used to it after 1 year. The exam structure is very flexible for the students. There are many options that help the students to prepare for exams easily.
Placement Experience
The placements stats are getting poor year after year, not many companies visit the college. Even if they do visit not many get placed. The placement department will demand for placements fee if a student gets placed which I don't think is acceptable. No, my college does not provide intership.
College Events
1. Cultural fests - Every year 2 fests will be organised. One is named as mAITri, and another one as Sanskriti. 2. Technical fests- These are organised by every department. 3. National festivals - The Independence day and Republic day are also celebrated.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible. Our college is a Government aided college so the fee is not too high. Compared to other colleges the fee is less. For students who admitted through CET exam the fee is very less compared to those who admitted through other exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college offers many scholarships which are - Scholarships for SC/ST students, Merit-cum-Minority scholarships. And also the college offers loan facility with many different banks. One of my friend had availed Merit-cum-Minority scholarship.
Campus Life
The labs are well equipped with latest equipments, the lab instructors are also good. There is one big play ground, one basketball court, one small sports complex. This college is very good option for those who are interested in extracurricular activities like dancing, singing, hosting.
Alumni/Alumna
Every year there will be one alumni meet where the past graduated students will interact with the faculty. The senior students are very helpful not only in studies but also in organising events and fests.
Admission
I had written CET exam after my 12th, I got 14k rank in the exam and got admission ticket for this college. The admission process was smooth. They asked for a lot of documents and lot of copies of the documents.
Faculty
The faculty for Telecommunication engineering is good and knowledgeable. The faculty consists of well trained bunch of assistant professors and professors. They are very open to students and help them whenever they require help.
