Remarks
Some of old buildings are in worst condition. Our college has a lot of land area but not maintained. Most of land are covered with wild grasses.some times cattles are found grazing In the campus. Our campus road is connecting road of a village to city so some times heavy vehicles are spotted.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is based on iits.course is updating time to time.one who is dedicated in study and complete his homework on daily basis found its really easy on exam to score paper. rather than most of us who covers whole syllabus on single night.
Placement Experience
Placement scenario in our college is good.a lot of companies like core ,non core comes.basically Tata is major recurtter in our branch.some other mnc like Vedanta ,Viraj steel also recurits many.in non core one Google,ola,paytm,and many others visit campus.
College Events
A lot of cultural and technical fests are celebrated.among them ojass has a separate fan base among technical fest. Culfest is our cultural fest, a lot of participants come in culfest and ojass from near by college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Tuition fee is same for all nit's,but our college institute fee is more than others nit's.it is feasible as due to good academics , good placements.mess fee is also High than others.mess quality is not as on mark as compared to fee.
Fees and Financial Aid
Most prestigious scholarship in ous College is given by Tata Cummins.it is merit based scholarship. Besides this there is fee remission for those whose family income is less than 3 lack per annum.and a lot of other scholars ship is also present.
Campus Life
If you are interested in cricket, basketball, football, volleyball, badminton,then here is a lot of scope.even in hockey.labs are not up to the mark. Old labs are renovating slowly and upgrading. Works shops are best.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are helpful.they acts as a elder brother. The alumni network is strong. Every year alumni meet take place. In which passed out alumni comes to guide us and provide knowledge about corporate world.
Admission
Firstly I have cleared jee mains paper with a rank of 41657.then I participated in josaa councelling,I filled my choice of nit Jamshedpur, Metallurgy,after waiting for some time, result get published and I was alloted this college.
Faculty
Faculty is mixed type.old ones are decent and new ones are strict to attendance.old lecture teaches us in relax manner.they have no haste.they also give good marks and attendance.they permit group class bunks.
