It is outside the city area which makes traveling cumbersome. There are no malls or entertainment sources nearby. At night roaming outside college is not considered safe. Students all over the nation and also foreign students who come to our college come for the placements opportunities mainly, which is our strong point.

There is a mid semester exam which happens in between the semester(after 1-2 months of college opening). Followed by End Semesters with the same gap. Course followed in my college is inspired by IIT Kanpur and MITs. It is an autonomous college.

Yes, my college has Placements and Training Cell totally dedicated towards job and internship opportunities. We have interships in our 5th and Semester for 4 year degree students. Dual Degree integrated students get to sit in placements on 7th Semester. We had an average placement of 12 lakhs per annum last year. If had no experience of internship yet.

We have an annual cultural fest. We call it Effervescence. It is the second largest fest in Uttar Pradesh after IIT Kanpur’s cultural fest. We had Farhan Akhtar Benny Dalal like stars who performed on our stage. College also hosts Aproksha, our technical fest. It is one of the most popular fest in the whole nation. We recieve a huge amount of participation from all around the world for our contest “ Hack in the North” Whose winning amount is usually around 25 lakhs inr. ASMITA is our sports fest which happens in the colder months of the year. It also has moderate participation from neighbouring colleges.

Fee structure seems to be feasible. It is at par with other colleges of national importance like ours. Reserved Category student enjoy no tuition fee and only pay for hostel rents and mess fee. Other than that there are various scholarship one can apply for.

I haven’t applied for any scholarships. My roommate got a state scholarship on his 12th marks. Loan facilities are not offered by the college as such. Special request can be entertained by the authorities.

Our college is dedicated towards IT and ECE, thus we have only IT ECE labs All labs and lecture complex is located inside a huge building we call “computer centre”, there are three of such structures which are centrally air conditioned. We have a huge football ground with a pavilion on one side with proper lighting.

There is no such Alumni network Students are usually connected with nearest batch of students. One year senior or one year junior students. Interaction with other students is limited. People are helpful Seniors could act tough at first but they ease out later.

The admission procedure starts with passing 12th Board Examination. The Central Board Of Secondary Examination conducts 1st Entry Level exam called the Joint Entrance Examination(JEE Mains). Result declares your Rank taking into consideration your marks. The Central Seat Allocation Board then opens a portal online where students are allowed to enter their choices. According to the ranks and choices fulfilled by students, a college is finally allocated to a student. There are 7 rounds in the selection procedure. If a student is not satisfied by allotted college he may opt out vacating a seat for a lower ranked student. After the final 7th round a student is allocated a seat in our college.

Faculties of core branches are really good. They have the interest and passion to teach as well as very sound knowledge of the subject. The other faculties however are not that good. Our college focuses on Information Technology However many new branches were recently opened Such as management. Which has a long way to go.
