Good college in Uttarakhand

The faculty and Other staff of college is good at its work. The weak point of college is bad Chemistry and physics labs and Hostel lacks various facilities. The overall remark is Good but their are areas of improvement.

Math syllabus in B.Sc second year was so much compared to first year and third year. It should be in reasonable amount keeping in mind the available time for studying the syllabus. All else was suitable according to degree.

College provides diploma and degree professional courses but not internship. Does not provide placements but after attaining the degrees the students can have greater job opportunities in their future.

Annual function takes place every year in the college. Along with that, Refresher Party, Spring Festival Function, and various other cultural functions also take place in the college. The college has its auditorium for that.

The fee structure of college is very feasible for poor class family students. Students coming from BPL background can avail concession in fees as well. College has its reasonable fee structure for all students.

College does not provide any scholarship or loan facility that I am aware of. Toppers of college get awards at annual function day for their hard work. Also their names are shown on the official website of college.

College offers various extra curricular activities as well as programs. NCC, NSS certificate programs are conducted in college. College has its own teams of various sports like Cricket, Basketball, Badminton separate for boys and girls that take part at state level tournaments.

Hostel infrastructure is a weak point of college. There are not much facilities in the college hostel. Students suffer from water scarcity and there is no mesh for food preparation. Students have to prepare their food on their own.

Yes senior students are very helpful at least in science stream as I pursued B.Sc. and M.sc from the college. They helped providing Notes, files, practical experience and knowledge regarding the topics as well.

After being in Merit list and through document verification. My siblings also studied in this college. After passing 12th exam I submitted the admission form of B.Sc. 1st year to the college office. Then they prepared a merit list.

Faculty at my time of study in college was experienced and mastered in their concerned subjects. Professors of Maths, Physics and Chemistry were helpful and student friendly. I can't say for now, as the staff has changed since then.
