The admission test is called IBSAT (IBS or ICFAI BUSINESS SCHOOL APTITUDE TEST) I scored 87 percentile. I opted for this college because its one of the prominent institutions for MBA among the Tier 2 business schools in India and is top rated Hyderabad

The course curriculum is very structured and organised and very industry ready. My electives were Financial Statement & Analysis, Securities Analysis, Financial Risk Management, Investment Banking, Portfolio Management & Mutual Funds, Project Appraisal Finance, Commodities and Currency Derivatives, International Business, Mergers & Acquistions, Finacial Modelling & SAS

Internship were allotted by the college and also acquired by students themselves. I worked with capital markets in my internship and i landed up in the same industry for my final job. Generall stipend can be anything between 5000-100000pm

The placement scene is very competitive and prominent companies like JP morgan, bank of america, de shaw, crisil, eclerx, delotte, kpmg, ubs come each year and offer salaries between 10-20 lakh p. a. However average salary is 5 lakhs per annum. We attract companies from all disciplines and the students have made a good name for themselves and the institute since the last 20 years

The b-school has 50 active clubs of various streams like finance, marketing, leadership, economics, entrepreneurship, nature, photography, fashion, arts, cultural, drama etc. All have a university level status under IFHE( icfai foundation for Higher Education). We have a annual managment fest TRISHNA which attracts participants from all premier Bschools in India. Also there is an yearly Alumni meet held in college called NOSTALGIA

Basic tution fees is 12 Lakh. Hostel and mess fees is 1 Lakh. This is for 2 years. Other expenses include personal ones and will vary from individual to individual

Hostel facilities are all single occupancy ac & non ac with common and attached bathrooms with washing machines in each. Mess is from Sodexo and the standard is pretty much what they maintain across India in various corporates and educational institutions
