My honest review of JSS NOIDA

The college is the best you can get among private colleges in Uttar Pradesh. Being an South Indian college they take studies seriously and crowd here is among top rankers in UPSEE exam. Negative is the University curriculum and not college.

The course consists of 4 years and 8 semesters. The curriculum is decent but we cannot say that it is aligned to latest technology. It is somewhat outdated. The exam is conducted by university at the end of each semester. There are internal exams also conducted by the college. Internals are conducted 3 times in each semester.

Placements are decent. Average package is around 4 lpa and some reputed companies like Adobe, kronos visit providing 21 and 15 lpa respectively. Internship are not provided but we need to do it ourselves.

There is an event named ZEALICON. It is the biggest and only event here. It consists of a series of events scheduled for 3 days. In these 3 days we have every from singing, dancing, drama, robowars( robots made by students fight with each other), stand up comedy, bike stunts and lot more.

The fee is feasible. It is almost same for all private colleges in UP. Fee is around 1.4 lakh for 1st year amd reduces by ?10k every year. So considering other universities and the facilities provided here we can say that fee is feasible. Fee is paid one time but there is also installment facility in some special cases.

College do not provide scholarships but UP government do provide scholarships. The criterion is mainly focused on providing scholarships to students of lower caste. The scholarship amount is equivalent to fees paid by students. Scholarship forms need to be submitted every year at UP government site.

There are various societies formed by students like coding society, dance society, singing, drama, robotics and several other societies. These societies conducts their events regularly. There are basoc sports facilities like football, cricket amd basketball courts. Labs are good and have all the technologies that are prevelant in market.

The alumni network is decent and there is no such dense interaction. The seniors are really helpful in everything from studies to personal life. Seniors are always ready to help in all aspects but you should maintain good relation eith them.

First of all i applied for UPSEE exam which is conducted every year for admission to all colleges in Uttar Pradesh. Registration starts in January and it is compulsory exam for taking admission into UP colleges. Then i gave exam in may month and result came in june month. Then UPSEE conducteds counseling for colleges based on exam rank. I applied for counseling by paying ?10000 which was adjusted against my college fees. There are 4 rounds of counseling and i got my college in 1st round. Then i printed out the allotment letter and reported to my college with that letter and some documents mentioned on my college site. I paid fees and it was done.

See it depends on students. Teachers are cooperative and have decent knowledge. Moreover they are always ready to help you in all aspects. All teachers have done masters and some have done PhD also. You can't expect them to teach exceptionally good but they have decent knowledge.
