College - A student's second home

Overall, the college has an excellent infrastructure, provides you with a good atmosphere to enhance your personality providing you different platforms in the extra curriculars too. However, the placement package is not much high and some of the faculty are not experienced enough.

The course curriculum is of 4 years. In each year there are 2 semesters of approximately 6 months each. Therefore, in total there are 8 semesters in the b.tech. course i did. There are internal exams by the college before the actual final exam in each semester.

The average placement package is around 5 lakh per annum. The job opportunities for computer and IT branches are more as compared to civil and mechanical branches. There is internship necessary for students in third year of the graduation. Since i was from civil branch, i did internship from uppwd lko but there was no stipend provided.

The college has an annual fest which is very extravagant and many colleges of even different cities participate. It is of around 3 to 4 days fest. There are also celebrities invited for the performances on the last day. It also has freshers and farewell like events.

The fee structure being a private college is moderate around 1 lakh for a year. There is also scholarship provided for the weaker economic sections of students. The college has a very good infrastructure so accordingly i think it is worth it.

The college provides scholarship for the economic weaker section students for all the years of graduation. The students need to deposit all the required documentation necessary for the scholarship and open an account in the bank present in the college.

The college has many different kind of clubs, communities present for dance, music, acting. They participate in many inter college fests. The college even has a big stadium and playground. The labs are fully equipped with instruments and well maintained.

The hostel has both the facilities of girls and boys hostel. All kind of rooms single and double seater, with or without AC are present. The hostels have mess which provides a moderate kind of food. It also has a gym , playground, entertainment room for watching television.

The senior students are really helpful for all the project work or guidance necessary for the field you are pursuing for future. The alumni are also invited in fests and alumni records are maintained and upgraded periodically.

I appeared for Uttar Pradesh state entrance examination. Through the rank i secured in the exam, i appeared for counselling procedure and took admission in the college accordingly to the preference list i provided during the counselling.

Since it is a private engineering college, the faculty is not much experienced. Some are just MTech. pass outs who teach the students. On an informal level, the faculty is very friendly and supportive.
