Gitam university

there is remark on the college is that the students will consume drugs and because of few students blaming the whole college is not a good as a student I can say there is very healthy atmosphere in the campus. The college need to control the fee structure as it is goes on increasing every year.

The gitam will have its own course curriculum as it is a deemed university and there are very much similar to normal engineering college they need to change a lot in the syllabus to maintain high standards and need to introduce new course on data science,AI,IOT as there are future.the exam structure will be 20 marks for internals and 80 marks for externals the student need to get minimum 24 marks in each subject in external to get pass in the semester. and there will internal and external exam for labs as well.

Many MNC companies visits during campus placement and most of them are from IT field and there will be just 2 to 5 companies from CIVIL and MECHANICAL field and there is no companies from aeronautical department. and there is option for students to get placed in more than one company because of this repeatedly same students got placed and remained are not got a chance this reduced the chance of others get placed the college management need not allow students who got placed once in other placement drives.the placement percentage is just 35 to 40%

Every year gitam conducts a college fest with a name called PRAMANA it would be for 3 days cultural fest ,technical fest and dj night it would be stress burster for all the college students out there it will be full of colours and adventures. Many celebrities of different domain visits during college fest during my engineering Chetan Bhagat visited our campus there was an hour session with him.

Gitam fee structure is some what expensive than normal EAMCET college the fee for each branch is 2,75,000 per year and for aeronautical it would be around 3,30,000 per year and for normal people it’s not affordable to pay this much fees just college fee will be around 11 lakhs.

Gitam offers scholarship facility for its student from each branch they will 8 to 10 students to provide scholarship based on their performance for each semester and they would be loan facilities also available by Indian overseas bank

Gitam contains a separate space to encourage the extra curricular activities it has good facilities for both indoor and outdoor games it contains in door games like chess, carrom, table tennis , tennis and nets for outdoor games like volleyball and space to play cricket in college premises.

Gitam owns separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls they are very neat and monthly rent will be also in affordable range it comes with gym facilities and good security for students it would be second home to students.

The senior students are very good in nature I have received a good guidance from them during campus placements and they helped in clarifying doubts in the subjects and there was a good brotherly relationship between juniors and seniors.

I have got dimission into gitam by writing the extrance exam the exam is an online test it contains 100 questions each carries 3 marks and there is no negative marks for wrong answer. Before attending the test we need to book a time slot and date to attend the test in the official website of gitam college and extrance test fee would be around 2000 rupees. The test will happens in campus premises of the gitam.

Most of the college facilities are from normal engineering colleges with their MTech degree the college should take care to recruit the faculty from NIT or from reputed engineering college.so that the student can get exposure to subject deeply.
