Best Duration of life

While I was in college, I was spectacular about my college and have always talked about bad but now I can say confidently that there was not any negative thing in my college. I can name 100s of positive things. Best of all positive thing is, you will carry lots of good memories throughout your lifetime.

Course in Engineering colleges are decided by the university. Its teachers who guide us through covering our curriculum. We have 8 semesters during the course and in 8th Semester, we have our project. We had 2 sessional (Class test) and 1 internal marking for each subject and 1 external exam.

College didn't provided any internship rather we were asked to arrange for that on our own. As far as placements were concerned, Good number of companies visited our college. Most of the folks got campus placement.

Whole duration of our college was like an event. We celebrated and enjoyed every moment of our college/hostel life. Apart from that there were some formal events also which includes but were not limited to Freshers Party, Farewell, Annual Function.

I am not aware of the latest fee structure of the college but in session 04-08, the fee was around 50,000 per year. Along with that we also paid hostel charges which were around 30,000 during those days.

There was no procedure of any kind of scholarship or loan in our college. Our college was strict on payment terms. Several people who are from Economical Weaker section gets scholarship from Government.

During the first year of the course there are multiple lab activities like mechanical, chemistry, Physical, Electrical. But coming from second year o say third semester, there will only be computer lab left.

Hostel was awesome. If anyone is planning to join ABES, I would recommended him or her to opt for hostel. That will change your experience of college drastically. Hostel is the only thing you will remember till the last days of your life.

There is a portal designed by our college for alumni. Lots of my friends and classmates have enrolled themselves for the program. I am also the part of that project. Also college hosts annual alumni meet.

I participated in many entrance exams but got good rank in AIEEE and UPTU only. I got admission ABES by qualifying UPTU exam. During counselling process I opted for ABES college as my first preference. Luckily i got admission here.

Faculty in our college were brilliant. They were like friend to us. They kept us motivated throughout the course and also helped us with our aspirations and deciding future aspects. Teachers have taught us in a way that we learned the practical aspects of our course.
