Review about BEC

For many things like sports and entertainment the college is a very positive one but the lab facilities should also be increased in the college. Lab curriculum should be changed so that the experiments make the students to experience the industrial style.

The course curriculum should be modified so as to meet the latest trends in the industry, so the students can know what is happening actually in the industry. The exam structure consists of two assignments 2 miss and one semester exam. This is followed twice an year as there are two semesters per year. Lab internals and lab externals are also part of each semester

The placements and job opportunities are a bit less when compared to previous years. College should encourage students to get a job in different streams rather than pushing them to only stream what college can offer. Our college does not provide any internship inside the college. If we wish to do, it should be done outside.

There are many events like technical and cultural fest, college magazine, and many more departmental events that are celebrated in the college. Technical and cultural fest is of special attraction which is of 3 days and all the students of other colleges can participate in it. Departmental magazine is with respect to the department and the events are done inside the department.

The fee structure is feasible one, but the total amount should be paid at the starting of the year and hence it seems a little bit expensive. Students can be given a chance to pay it in two semesters rather than single time.

There is a bank in the college where one can open bank account and can apply for educational loan. They will be guiding through the process and the required documentation in the bank and students can get their loan from there itself.

The college consists of a massive ground that contains cricket ground, football, kabaddi, kho-kho, ball badminton and there are cricket nets where one can practice cricket to improve their game. Labs in the college should be somewhat modified so that students can get the industry experience in the college itself. There will be many technical and nontechnical events per department. It depends on the departmental staff.

For me I thought alumni is not that helpful. When we are studying our btech we do not have any idea of what is actually happening outside the college, particularly in the industry. It would be more helpful if the college plans the alumni meetings in cities like Hyderabad or Bangalore.

I've got a rank in EAMCET through which I've got a seat in ECE. Admission starts with certificates verification in the respective departments and the fee for the first year should be paid in advance. This process takes place in the respective departments in shock we wish to join.

Faculty of the college, particularly in our department are of good knowledge. All of them are from NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGIES and they have the better idea of the industry and and the job opportunities outside the college. They should publish more papers in IEEE and should get their PhD degree in their stream of interest.
