Experience of college life

The only thing going on for this college is it's brand value. People only join here because Galgotia is known all over India for it's name. The management, faculty and the hostel is absolutely useless.

Course contains subjects of the latest trend but there's still some subjects which are a useless. Exam structure for each semester- CAT 1 50 marks, CAT 2 50 marks, ETE 100 marks, And there are some quizzes in between the semester.

Placement is somewhat around 100% but that mostly includes mass recruiters who take the students in bulk despite of their performance. There are some highly paid placements but they are very rare. As for the stipend , the normal package is around 3.5lac

There is a annual event in our college known as Unifest where several clubs host their programs and events. Then there's a yearly hackathon for computer science students who like coding and stuff. There's also jashn-e-diwali which is a small scale version of Unifest.

The fees structure for B.Tech is 1.6lac for 1 annum , it's niether expensive nor cheap. There's an option for scholarship for reserved students. For other courses , the fees ranges from 50 to 90k per annum.

University provides a scholarship plan for reserved middle class students but that is offered by Indian government, Galgotia just acts as a middle man. For loan facility, u Will have to contact your bank and check whether they cover this institution or not.

The labs have latest and mostly working components but there's no safety measures in the lab and the faculty are not trained well enough to handle the machines easily. There are proper sports equipment available but there's no emphasis on sports.

Unlike most other colleges, there's no ragging at all. The seniors will act as a better teacher than most of the faculty. The only thing u can count upon in GALGOTIAS is your seniors. They have already suffered so they make sure that we don't.

U have to fill the online form available on the website , and then called the to look into your form. After 2 days ,u will receive your offer letter. Then u have to take that letter and your personal documents to the GCET campus in greater Noida for final admission process.

The faculty is one of the worse things in this University. They have no idea what's going on in the campus. The management is so bad that they often forget to print the question papers for the exam. There are some teachers who don't anything about their teaching subject. They just open their PPT or PDF and start reading from them.
