According to me Campus life here is the best and cannot be found anywhere else. Students from everywhere around the country meet here and share their experiences and help each other. We become a part of family here. People are very helpful and kind and hard - working.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course Curriculum is very chill here. There is not much load on students in college. Grading here is also not very bad. Profs are very cool and co-operative and understands student's problem and help to sort it out. We follow credit based system and students are free to choose how much load they want to bear in one semester
Placement Experience
The placements of IIT kanpur are best among all iits (87%). Many job opportunities are available here and also the kind of job you are searching core or non - core. Internship opportunities are available here which you can avail and the internships provide good stipend which you are worthy of.
College Events
Mainly Three great events are celebrated here which is awaited by all. The names of events are UDGHOSH, ANTARAGNI AND TECHKRITI. Students from all over the country participate in these events and make the events a great success.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee of iits are much less than the private colleges and feasible as it take fees according to your parents income and so the IITS understands how much a person could afford. Scholarship opportunities are also available here. So it means a person could be eaning money for studying
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are a very good opportunity for students which everyone could not avail. There are not one or two but many scholarships offered by different organisations to help students study well and bring fame to their country.
Campus Life
Students here are motivated to play sports so as to maintain good health. College provides a very good opportunity to every student to play any sport of their choice and facilities are provided for it and regular maintainence is done so students do not face any problem.
Hostel Facilities
There is a continuous renovation process going so that the students do not feel uncomfortable here and can study well in better environment. There is a lot of greenery here and peacocks are frequenty found here and there.
Alumni/Alumna
IIT kanpur is famous for its Alumni connection. You can find iitk student in every field working hard to make every kind of progress they could do. Juniors learn a lot about College life from Senior students. They are very polite and co- operative and help whenever needed.
Admission
Two Exams for getting admission in various iits and nits is conducted. First one is called JEE MAINs in which around 10 lakh students participate and out of them around 1.5 lakh students get qualified for next exam named JEE ADVANCE which is little harder than previous one. Based on the rank , students get to choose which college is best for them and fill up the preference list.
Faculty
Faculty here is awesome. Most of them are young and always enthusiastic to teach the students. They also guide the student on right path and always help them in their bad times. They are kind of friendly to everyone.
