My college days

It's a great college. Dream college of many students. They have great faculties and clubs. Also college ambience is positive to study, develop yourself or to involve in extra curricular.

Course is very hectic. 2 years of studies is squeezed into some 4 months of studies. This is for experienced professional, 4.5 years or more. There are no electives yet but it will be introduced in future. You have to struggle more in studies.

Placements are fine. Median shall be some 16 L to 17 L. For this program, placement is a bit challenging but we saw great placement score in 2018-19 batch. Internship has to be done by every student for some 45 days. Stipend is optional & depends on company where you work. Some got 1.2L & some got 0. Internship time is less.

A lot of events are celebrated but you will hardly get time. I can't mention much name as I didn't get involve much there. One b-school event , one sports event & few cultural events were there. These were mega events here.

Highly feasible for vlm students - 12L course & some additional 2 to 3 lakhs expense is total you will spend. Other b-school fees ranges from 24L to 35L. RoI is better in this course. 2 iits & Japan tour are included in this expense.

SBI loan at joka. Currently they are not providing loan for this program. Rate of interest was 8.5%. you can also opt for private banks. No scholarship for this program. Easy disbursement of fees also done.

Great library & facilities. U also enjoy paid subscription of some magazines. Sports facility is average. It is an old b-school & space allotted is less for games and sports. Although college has its own sports club and many talented students. There are various clubs in this college on different subject such as operations, marketing, law, communication etc.

Good hostel in iim. AC is provided. It's an old infrastructure but you enjoy AC. Other hostels in iits are not that good. They have small rooms & mosquitos issues. At vlmp hostel you may get single, double or triple sharing. It is not choice. It is given by company.

I have not used any alum link at all yet. I have to find out this. There is an alum network for 2 years course students which is huge.networks are helpful for placements & later for forming connections.

You have to write one entrance exam. This is for core background students. Total 40 candidates are selected. 1st written test & then Viva is done. GMAT score is also seen, it is better to have a good score.

Senior faculties are very nice. Some are very strict. You will learn a lot from all of these. They give a lot of effort in teaching properly. They are well experienced & gives a lot of assignments to study upon.
