Remarks

Only positive remarks. I love my college as I don't have anything negative to mention. I'm provided with good facilities and faculties. We have a very large and well maintained campus. Overall everything is good.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum are very well. We are under the Bengaluru Central University and we have 6 subjects as written exams. We are provided with sufficient study holidays and everything is well managed.

Placement Experience

5

Our college helps us with placements and other job opportunities. Our college also provide internships. I'm still in the first level of the course but my seniors have told me about how well they are settled now with the placements

College Events

5

Our college supports various religious festivals and other cultural programs. There are freshers day for letting the juniors come up with their talents. Every year, the college fest happens which is known as The Acharya Habba

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structures are quite reasonable and we've not felt that it's too high. We're provided with sufficient facilities, so the fee structure is reasonable compared to other colleges with the same course

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college offers the student loan facility in order to make sure that we're not facing any difficulties due to the payment of fees and other tensions. Scholarships are also provided for every overseas student.

Campus Life

5

Extracurricular activities are highly supported by our college. We have a well maintained ground for playing football, cricket and other sports. We have college teams for every sport played here and are considered important for student education.

Hostel Facilities

5

The hostel facility of our college is great. Most of the students opted for Hostel because of the cleanliness and well managed building. The food is great and everything is provided in the hostel required for the students.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni networks works well in our college. Each year, alumni functions are conducted with different pass out batches and that helps to make everyone have a contact between each other and let their friendship be strong like before.

Admission

Admissions are done on our academic qualifications and portfolios. We are supposed to make our own portfolios and present it to our interviewers in order to make them understand how talented we are and that we're qualified enough to join the college

Faculty

5

The faculties of my college, i.e.. Acharya School of Design are excellent. They're highly qualified and are able to help us and teach us. They are very supportive and guiding both in our academics and personal life

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placement in their final years. The companies which comes for the placement are deloitte, goldmanSachs, amazon and many more reputed companies. And they do make many offers. The highest package reports around 30 LPA and the average goes on around 3 to 4.5 LPA. Around 70-90 percent get placements. My plans is to pursue higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements towards the final semester of their course. Currently, I have only been using the help of my faculty for internship opportunities, since I am not looking for placements. But they have connections with big names in the communication sector, and they often have personalities coming in to give talks and interact with the students. A great number of students opt for placements and approximately 90% of them do end up getting posted at really good companies. Others choose to continue with higher education. My plan after receiving my degree would be to take up a diploma in literature in the UK, while simultaneously finding myself a position at a good publishing house there.

Placement Experience:

From my seniors, I hear that 20/30 % of students from our college get placed. But now being in my final sem I know the reality. For covid and lockdown, the placement sector has been badly hit. Only a handful of companies came this year (5/6 companies). 4/5 people from our batch are placed but no placement for the big chunk of people. From 5th sem students become eligible for placements but in 5th sem, no company came to our college for placement this year. Only in the 6th sem, the placement cell started. Companies that visited till now ( some of them came to take interns and didn't offer full-time jobs) 1) Clevertize, 2) Social Panga, 3) Robert Bosch GmbH, 4) Saatchi & Saatchi, 5) Publicis, 6)PR Pundit, 7) McKinsey, 8) Edsol Edtech, 9) Momo Media, 10) MSL, 11) Genesis BC, Offers: 1.5-3 LPA (average). I plan to send CVs personally to companies through LINKEDIN and other job search platforms because the college hasn't provided us with good placement offers as claimed.
