I got into SJCE through CET (toughest and oldest entrance exam in india). My rank is 2549. I choose SJCE for its best in class education & placements. In 4th year I got placed in TCS core job. The interview process took 6 hours and at end I was placed in core. The best college and one of the best jobs.

Our college is autonomous. So it has its own syllabus copy and procedure of marks. The teachers are sound in subject and the way of explaining is also better than any others.The education is far better than any other in my city. Teachers are friendly and innovative. I love to study in this college.

First company to give internship opportunity is goldman sachs. It offered a core profile, 2 months stay at Bangalore and a stipend of 25000 rs. The internship was tough and only one was placed. The next company was ARM processors. It also offered a core profile, 2 months and a stipend of 20000 rs. After these 2 none of the other companies came.

Placements are good and far more better than any college in karnataka. It has 2 job policy you can get aby job in these 3 categories mass(3lpa), core(4lpa to 5.5lpa), dream(6lpa). The best job policy in the vicinity.

Last year college fest was visited by a special guest names "AKCENT"! ya the world famous singer .The crowd was more than 50000 and energising. The best night at college when AKCENT sang "special girl". Technical events do happen every now and then in a month.

The scholarship facility is good. I have got MHRD scholarship and it's a decent amount. We also have epass facility for backward and low economic classes which waves off the fees paid by them. Loans are usually not taken as these things are sufficient for survival.

Campus life was fun and energetic. The gender ratio is almost 60:40. There is gender equality. Students are involved in all types of extra curricular activities with basket ball, foot ball, hockey courts. Sophisticated gym and tennis courts. State and national players are present. Labs are well equipped and furnished. The all india robotics competition happens every year conducted by IITB or IITD. debates and other activities are common.

Alumni of our college are spread across the global. Jaugal Shreenath is one among our alumni. Our senior students working in companies collaborate with us to provide good job opportunities and training.
