College management is excellent. Be it gatekeeper dada or VP, everyone is equally devoted.

St. Xavier's has been a new experience for me. Yeah, this is my first year , But everything I have heard and seen about the colleges' education system in India is not applicable here. Studies are relevant and research driven. Our faculty has taught in some of the well renowned colleges like Hindi and Hansraj and now they're even the authors of many books followed by students all over India. You have to keep your work tip top or you'll not survive here, in fact if you don't clear the internal examinations, You'll not be allowed to sit for the semester examinations without vp's approval.

Placement cells at St. Xavier's are pretty good. Our admins have contacts with many renowned companies and events are organized from time to time where you can present your entrepreneurship skills and make one of the finest networks possible. Events like INITIUM offer internships with more than 40 national scale companies with a handsome stipend.

XAVOTSAV is the attraction of SXCCAL. It is a music cum full of fun 3 days. Other than that fests and infotainment events are organized almost every 10-15 days. If you want to add internships in your cv then INITIUM is there. For people with other talents as in sports and music, Tournaments are organized and open jamming sessions are also held.

At the time of admission 25,500 will be charged. After that for the morning session the fees is around 10.5k for a quarter. If you are not from Kolkata , living expenses are around 6k per month and food is no issue in Kolkata. You can eat for as low as 30rs per meal and catering services delivers food for around 50 rs per meal. You can use metro and buses for travelling costs for which are as low as 5-10 rs.

There are internships on the campus itself. You'll be notified about it through the class groups and class CR.

In the morning department, there are only boys. In the BMS and B.com evening department , there is a very good gender ratio. Students from many parts of North-East are there at SXCCAL. Sports departments is very active. Indoor games like Chess and video games tournaments like FIFA and PUBG are also organised.

Seniors are always helpful. You can ask for help from the college society members as well. Each class has a mentor teacher , You can approach them regarding any difficulty.

St. Xavier's college , Kolkata , releases it's cutoff lists around 2nd week of May and usually the classes start in the first week of June. An application form has to be filled up with your 12th marks and Maths is a mandatory subject. Physical education marks are not considered for the best of five subjects. If you qualify , as per the cutoff lists, You'll be provided with dates for the personal interview. You'll have to appear for the personal interview along with both* your parents and dress up formally for it. There only you'll be provided with the fees slip and you'll have to pay for the first quarter. All this is to be done on the date of interview itself. You'll be directed towards the Chapel building for the Cyber card(temporary id) where photograph will be taken and you can review the details you've given while submitting application. Then you're all set.

Our faculty is one of the main attractions of the college. Although there are few young teachers who are still finding their way of teaching, This doesn't cover the fact that they're highly qualified.
