Remarks
Positive - Students have freedom. College management won't interfere with students' personal things. Supports in extracurricular activities. Students who need special attention will be taken care of. Very energetic campus Scenic Backyard with a lake view Negative - Politics is banned. In my opinion political support should be there for every student if management do something wrong
Course Curriculum Overview
Speaking about the course curriculum it's one of the best. Students won't feel any heavy or hectic feel. The structure is well balanced. Even the faculty is very positive in responding. In a semester we had 2 internal examinations and one external examination. We have extra subjects to improve the certificate value.
Placement Experience
The placement rate is very high. Deloitte, Infosys, and a lot more MNCs come here to select the best talents since it's the best college in Kerala. In several departments after the 4th semester, it's mandatory to do an internship and it's purely based on our interest to opt which firm.
College Events
Every year we have an Arts festival. Onam celebration. Christmas celebration college day and lot more programs based on the interest of the Union and students the respected year. They have a dance club, music club, and 10 such clubs and they all conduct programs to entertain students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It was not very expensive. For aided departments, their fees will be below 6000 for a year, and in the self-financing department, they vary. Bcom self-financing departments cost below 30000 for a year. So comparatively it's feasible
Fees and Financial Aid
There are scholarship programs provided by Government and all I know is about an exchange program. Sacred Heart College is having a tie-up with Concordia University in New York (USA). They provide an installment facility for students to pay the fees if needed.
Campus Life
Our college is the best in all extracurricular activities. For the last 2year, SH college is winning the MG University arts festival and in sports, it's always within the top 5. Sacred Heart College has the best NCC cadets and NSS students in Kerala.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is above average and provides single rooms which cost 2250 per room. The size of rooms varies. It's a building built by British people. So yeah. It's pretty outdated infrastructure but it's cool.
Alumni/Alumna
They are really helpful. The alumni association at Sacred Heart College is very powerful and energetic. There are a lot of celebrities and political leaders who studied here and they always support the college in all the needs.
Admission
I got selected by the sports council of Kerala. So the admission process was very simple. I submitted the application form and after a week I came and remitted the fees and took admission. After that, I had a face to face conversation with the Principal and teachers of my department
Faculty
They are the best. In Aided department they got government-approved faculty and in self-financing departments, they got highly qualified faculty, that is faculty who get retired from the aided department. The quality is assured.
