College of good ambience

Our college has really good infrastructure and best library in whole Uttarandhara.Some college rules need to be changed like ,we aren't allowed to leave the campus in the college hours without permission.

The Course consists of 7 semesters and a final group project.Each semester consists of 2 mid exams (where the average score of these exams are taken into consideration for final marks)and one summative exam.I have no issues with the course curriculum ,i think it's better to follow this pattern rather than having 3 mids and a sem ,which some colleges follow.

Every year minimum 50 companies come to our college but only recruit less than 10 members ,those who succeed in their recruitment process.If luck favours there are companies like capgemini,Accenture which visit our campus ,who recruit more than 200 members with an avg salary package of 2.8-3.5 lakhs.Our college provide some online internships in the summer who tie up with coursera and it is a paid internship.There is no stipend for this internship.Some companies which recruit the students provide internships(training program) before making them do their job work to create some awareness of the company.The stipend might be around 10k-15k per month.

1.Annual day event. This is the biggest event which happens in our college.2 weeks before the event ,sports activities are conducted in the college and some extra curricular activities like art,photography,dance etc.The top 3 department toppers of their respective years are given a scholarship amount of around 50k,25k and 12.5k in this event. The cultural program starts in the evening which consists of guest and lecturers speeches and students drama plays ,dances,songs,rock bands etc.The event concludes at midnight. 2.Department days The department day also follows the same pattern as annual day but only difference is that ,respective students of the department are allowed to join the event. 3.techno events This event consists of some workshops,project expo and technical stuff related to their respective departments.

The fee structure is really expensive for families whose annual income is around 2-3 lakhs.For 2016-2020 batch,the fees is around 90,500 rs including some building fee,tnp fees etc.Those who got eamcet rank below 10k have to pay only 7.5k while the remaining amount is paid by the govt.and those members whose annual income is below 1lakh in income certificate gets a reimbursement of 35k by the govt and have to pay the remaining 55k.Sc and St caste students will get full fee reimbursement by the govt and they are benefited by some free college schemes like free textbooks etc. I think the college fees for 2019 students is around 1.1 lakh and the govt is offering full fee reimbursement for students whose family income is below 2 lakhs,which is a very good step.

The college offers scholarship amount from 50k to 12.5k to the top 3 students who top their academics every year.Apart from that, college also encourages students to go to other college fests and workshops and payback the money spent by the student for travelling ,after submitting the event details and presentation given by the student in the event to their cultural heads of their respective departments.

The labs in the college are great and have every lab which the student has to perform at a stage of their course curriculum.There aren't much outdoor sports facilities available in the college(not enough ground).But has good indoor facilities like table tennis,chess,cartons,shuttle etc.

I don't live in hostel but I know their hostel ambience.For students before 2018,the college used to provide a private hostel for the boys and girls used to have their hostel in the college campus itself with every facility needed. After 2018,the college allocated official hostel buildings for the boys with great facilities like Gym,wifi,study halls,tv halls etc.

I didn't actually been in touch with my seniors.As far as I know ,there are good enough to provide us any information related to academics.Wish I could have mingled with them in our college life but past is past.

I got an admission in the college through EAMCET.My rank is 17750.I registered my name in eamcet counselling process and got a seat in ECE,Srkr bhimavaram college in first counselling.But because of high college academic fee and hostel fee ,i decided not to go there and opted for MVGR college in vizianagaram in second counselling.

Apart from some associate professors,every teacher teaches the subject in an efficient way which the student can able to perceive what the teacher is telling.Those who listen to their class is benefited and those who don't will struggle in the exam.Many faculty members tell the students about the different courses ,workshops and internships going on in the outside of the college and advice us to opt those for better in-depth knowledge ,skill development etc.On a scale of 1-5,i give a rating of 3.5 to my faculty.
