One of the best engineering college in India

All remarks I have of my college are positive only. it's the best college with state of art facilities and infrastructure. A campus that is awake 24*7. Facilities and freedom to even work all night is what make one fall in love with this campus.

Courses focus on a thorough understanding of subjects and their practical applications. Each course is evaluated on basis of exams that take out throughout the semester which include quizzes and mid sem and end sem exams.

The placement drive takes place every year. Most of the students take jobs through placements only. The student placements Office(SPO) also takes care of the internship of students at the beginning of the 4th year. Stipend goes up till about 3 lac for 2 months of a summer intern.

Many events include- E summit that happens every year wherein many entrepreneurs come and give d talk about their startups and innovations. Ghosh the sports fest of IITK is a three-day-long event where students from other colleges come and participate and compete in various sports competitions. Antaragni is a cultural fest, a 4 day-long event. Techkriti is the technical fest also 4 days long.

The fee structure for UG students is about 1.2 lac per semester. A bit expensive but one is always ready to spend this much to study in such a magnificent college with world-class infrastructure and facilities.

There is no specific student loan that the college offers but students can avail of study loans from the State bank of India and Union Bank of India which are present on the campus. Study loans have very low interests rate

The college has world-class infrastructure and labs and equipment. There are many labs. There are two student activity centers having basketball courts, volleyball, cricket stadium, football, and hockey court also. There are 6 tennis courts and a state of art indoor wooden flooring badminton and table tennis court.

Yes. Every hostel has unlimited wifi for students and other facilities like a game room, reading room, tv room, etc. Mess also gives very good food and also there is a canteen in every hostel that is open till 2 am at the night.

The college has a large alumni network who are all pioneers in their field and are always ready to support the college either financially or morally also they are always available to motivate the current student when they need help.

It's a two-step process to get into any IIT in India. First, one has to qualify for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains. Approximately top 2 lac candidates out of the initial 15 lac proceed for the second stage of selection which is JEE Advanced. Top 11000 out of those who give JEE advanced get admission into IIT.

Faculties are all the best in their field with an excellent research-oriented mindset. They all come from different parts of the country to teach the courses in a very efficient way such that the students grasp most of them.
