College is good for the students who are willing to do masters degree. But who are here in this college for job in the placement.the placement is not good comparably. But there is good cleanliness in the college that is a good factor.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum for GTU(GUJARAT TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY) is average that is some subjects are just unecessary that means a subject namely Indian Constitution is there in engineering course. That is not necessary but some subjects covers a lot about the topic.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities are there in our College but it is not feasible. People from different companies came for placement in our College. Job interviews are started from the ending of third year and by forth year those who are willing to do job gets the job
College Events
There are many events like GTU TechFest, BRIZINGr,Xitig like events occurred in our College and most of it managed by students only but the government will provide some budget for the event. Any of our events are of state level events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING COLLEGE RAJKOT is a government college so as per fee structure it is only 1500 per year. It is feasible for students who are willing to do masters outside India. But if you were at some merit rank which is better you can get a scholarship by which you can study for free here. So there is no fee related issues here.
Fees and Financial Aid
About scholarship our College is government college so there is lot of opportunities as scholarship for college fees hostel fees work tool fees can be provided. Some scholarship like MYSY which grants the food bill for the students who are living in hostel and Digital India scholarship helps students digitally to take instruments that they needed.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are actively done in our College. Like some events are mostly be handled by students which are only guided by faculty. Laboratory work is also good here all the laboratory have it's specific instruments which are working really well and there is below average rating about our extracurricular sports activities.
Alumni/Alumna
Yep senior students are quite helpful.They help in everything we asked them for. First time when we entered in the college seniors have arranged a small freshers party and seniors also helpful in academic purposes extra curricular activities and so on
Admission
If you have enough merit rank which is less than 6000 then you can get admission here I have nearly 5000 rank so I get here admission by registering in the admission portal which is provided by the government.
Faculty
Our College has the best faculty members ,they are always ready to support you in any field, whether it is technical or event related or management. Faculty members have also great knowledge and they are regular in taking their classes. So faculty is excellent in GECR.
