Course Curriculum Overview
Our graduation course of computer science(honours) are 3 year course with 6 semester.Each semester has internal exam and final exam.the final exams are happening in December (for odd sem) and may( for even sem).Our course system is choice based credit system
Placement Experience
In computer science department, now no placement is before 5 and years ago placement happen and there are several companies were coming and gave the opportunity to serve their companies. That's all for this.
College Events
Visva Bharti University is following path of Rabindranath Tagore's dream.In every month huge number of cultural programmes are organised with huge scale. Our main two event Holi utsav and Pous Mela, where all over the world's people are coming. Some of other programmes are drama festival before Durga Puja,several mela are organised in several places of visva Bharati over the year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible, in our subject for admission fees is 6000-7000 and the exam fees is 300 per semester , second year fees is 3000+. 800-1000 refundable price is return at time to leave from university.and sc/st students fees is low
Fees and Financial Aid
Our university offer top scorer scholarship of science departments according to their merit. And govt. Scholarship are also available to apply. Banks are also interested to gave students loans for meritorious students.
Campus Life
In Visva Bharti, several opportunities are available for extracurricular activities.like any one can learn song(several types)., Dances, diploma course, certificate course, sports events. Any can participate according to merit or admission test.
Hostel Facilities
Yes, different hostel has different fees. The infrastructure are good. The room have 2/3/4 beded according to room size.All girl students are provided hostels but all boys are not given to hostel. Boys hostel capacity is low. hostels are alloted with distance basis
Alumni/Alumna
Several events are organised in Visva Bharati where senior junior students are performed. and all the events alumni are always welcome and gave the opportunity to serve it. Their work for upcoming students are always prior
Admission
I got admission in 2014 in B.sc (honours)Computer science though admission test of visva bharati.From next year 2015 , Graduation for Science students admission test had stopped and admitted students according to their merit.
Faculty
In computer science department,9 faculty member and 5 P.hd member.All are good and helpful. If any problem occurs in any topics of class, can be discussed with teachers any time.They are always help you
