Course Curriculum Overview

Placements will be absolutely good. Tata Consultancy Services will be a major recruiter. The core companies visiting REC are Zoho Corporation, Embedded UR, Zoom RX, Hyundai, Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors, Tata Communication, etc. The average Package is 3.36 LPA.
College Events
Recharge - The cultural event of Rajalakshmi Engineering College. It will be held for one day every academic year at the REC campus. Sports day - Many sports and fun events will be conducted. College Day - The day meant for prize distribution.

Fees and Financial Aid
There is no scholarship or loan facility offered by my college to the best of my knowledge If you want, you can get a load from banks in India. You can get a loan of up to one lakh rupees from the bank per year.
Campus Life
Rajalakshmi Engineering College has many clubs, namely E Cell, RCREC (Rotract Club of Rajalakshmi Engineering College), National Service Scheme, YiREC, REC Debating Union, etc. REC even has a sports council that you can be a part of.
Alumni/Alumna
REC has an Alumni Association. Dr.P.Kumar M.E., Ph.D., is the director of REC Alumni Affairs. REC will conduct REC ALUMINI REUNION occasionally. Few alumni maybe even called for giving guest lectures, etc.
Admission
I applied for TNEA ( Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) conducted by Anna University, Chennai. The process will be done based on a merit list. They will call you for counseling based on the cut-off. Depending upon your cut-off marks, you can choose the college of your choice.
Faculty
Faculties are good in general. To start with the faculties of the Department of Humanities and Sciences (first year), will be good for teaching. You can even expect spoon-feeding in the first year. Moving on to the department, the staffs are knowledgeable and good. They will help you if you are deserving.
