Remarks
College has good union. Trinamul chara parishad runs the students union of asutosh college. They help the normal students every time. I i remarked this as a positive remark. I didn't find any negative vive in our college
Course Curriculum Overview
There are 28 courses offered by Asutosh College including diploma, bsc, ba, bcom both honors and major courses. The whole exam process is taken by the authority of University Of Calcutta. Now it is turned into CBCS system (credit base choice system) since 2018.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities are not too good. Because of it is a govt. College they can provide us only good education. Yes Asutosh College provides internship to many known companies in some own financed depertments.
College Events
We celebrate more than 13 events in 12 months including Anual Sports, ASL, APL, Ilish Parban, inter college fests, id, independence day, republic day and many more. There is a prefix in bengali "Baro mas e tero parban. "
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure is not too high. It is Feasible. Some depertment has a anual fee about only 5000 a month. But there are some own financed depertments also like bba, bio chemistry, microbiology etc. They have an avarage of 40000 indian rupees per anum.
Fees and Financial Aid
College does not provided any loan of scholarship. But west bengal govt provides some scholarship for the merit students and to those students who doesn't afford the higher studies. Like kannasree, vibekananda, nabanna etc. College helps to get the scholarships.
Campus Life
College has many sports team like football, cricket, badminton etc. The teams and the players plays many matches in Tounament. College has modelling team, drama team, dance team quiz team. They represents our college in inter college Tounaments.
Hostel Facilities
I don't opted hostel facilities. But i know that our college has both girls and boys hostel accommodation. But it is too far from college area. A bus route of 45 minutes. But college has provided a bus for the students of the hostel. I rate the hostel infrastructure 3/5
Alumni/Alumna
Now come to the seniors, they are just awesome. Noone can find seniors like them. They help us each and every time we need them, from college admission to giving notes. Our college has great alumni record some great players like sunil chetri and chuni goswami, some great ministers like madan mitra, partha Chattopadhyay.
Admission
Thw whole admission process is done online through the link www.asutoshcollege.in In the month of june after releasing the12th results the online form fillup portal is opened for not more than 10 days.
Faculty
All experienced professors are available here. Each department has more than six faculties. Many of them are university question paper setters. Our honorable principal is Dr. Deepak Kumar Kar. He is the University Vice chancellor.
