Get to know UIET

Not everything is good but not everything is bad as well. It depends on you how you get going again if everything is on track then you will get better day by day and ultimately lead to a good job and you will get going.

Course curriculum is quite good, all the courses are alike IIT Kanpur. Still, as the course is from India so it is quite outdated. 4 exams per subject per semester, which include 2 quizzes, 1 mid sem and a end sem examination.

Job opportunities are quite varying, placements are only available for CSE, IT and ECE branches, other branches don't have placements and other students mainly depend on GATE and other off campus companies.

1) Fresher's for 1st year students - This programme is organized by the college administration and 2nd year students. 2) Entrepreneurship Programme - This programme is organized by university administration and the students of the university, this programme had invited delegates from India.

The fee structure of the college is quite feasible, it is much lower than other private colleges of the nation and ultimately the college being equipped with all necessary and other facilities makes the college much better.

You can avail the scholarship offered by the school, if that is not provided then the university grants scholarship for the students. The scholarship is availed by the students after filling the form provide by the state administration.

Extra-curricular activities include sports which is catered by the university students, regular competitions are held every month, labs are held every week for the students. Labs are good and equipped with a the all the facilities.

I have opted for hostel, hostel infrastructure and facilities are quite good. The toilets and bathrooms are cleaned everyday. Mess is also good, you can complain if you have any problem with food and the problems are listened.

I can't comment on the alumni but yeah senior students are quite good, they help whenever needed and ultimately lead to better understanding of the college and even about the course structure and lead to good marks I'm examinations.

To get admitted in UIET Kanpur, one must have cleared his/her class 12th examination with a percentage more than 60% and must have got a good rank in UPSEE, conducted by AKTU. A rank under 10,000 can lead you to B.Tech in CSE.

Faculty is of varied nature, some are quite good, talented and hard working while others are not efficient and not good. Everything depends on your hardwork and ability to acquire skills. Online courses are a boon for this.
