Sathyabama Institute of Science and Technology is a college where discipline is given priority than academics.There is a need to improve the standard of teaching faculty.placements are good.the campus is good.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good.exam structure consists of 2 mid semester exams and one final exam.2 mid semester marks will be conducted for 50 each and Average will be taken for 50 marks.semester exam is for 100 marks.

Placement Experience

The placement are going well as of now as i am a final year student i do attend interviews.our college provides lot of opportunities for everyone. I have no idea regarding the internships in our college.

College Events

Cultural fest will be conducted every year where we are all allowed to showase our talents sports meet is conducted every year. Every year several club meetings will be conducted and everyone who has been part of it is awarded with certificates.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible.it can be negotiable based upon the marks you score in 12 standard and in entrance exam.the fee is not expensive when compared to other institutions.Scholarship are provided for the students who rank top in the semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not availed any scholarship or loan facility from our college but i many of my friends got loan facility for education purposes.few of my friends got scholarship for ranking top in the semester.

Campus Life

There are several clubs for activities and you can select any club you like. Labs have good infrastructure and with high Internet connection. Sports is also encouraged in our college.we have basketball court,cricket ground etc.

Hostel Facilities

At the time when i stayed in hostel it was different from now because the hostels have renovated and has become better than in our times.the hostel rooms are provided with ac's.the food in the hostel is too good.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful at the time of placements.the suggestions that are given by them through their experience helps us a lot.Seniors also guide in the club activities. I have good relation with many seniors.

Admission

I got admission by writing the entrance exam which is conducted by sathyabama every year. I have attended counselling and selected cse branch.actually i was in confused state to weather to take cse or ece but by taking the suggestion from my seniors i have decided to take cse.

Faculty

The faculty of my college are good.But there is a need to improve the faculty standards. Few staff don't even know about the subject that they are teaching.But we do have very good staff who can be able clear all our doubts.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Life in Sathyabama

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

I applied VIT , st Joseph's College, then anand institute of technology...i chose this because of campus and the students I talked to them ,they said it is too good andthe placements were also good too .only thing you need to study from the first...and then this college fees is good compared to other colleges as Sathyabama offer food and bus withing 1.5lakhs ..but others fees itself one lakhs and above...Read More
