If you come here to expect more then you will get demoralised. But if you want to study and do something better after grads, college is always ready to provide help to those who deserves.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is According to the University of Burdwan CBCS pattern. It is tough as well as easy in subjects within each year. Exam structure is as same as others. 2 internals before a semester. But exam timings are not predictable. Sometimes it can get before, sometimes way after.
Placement Experience
I don't think there is any internship or placements available for us in this college (as of heard).
College Events
So, you can have Freshers, there is also social(fest). Other activities you have various of sports activities, Debate competition of university level, other co-curricular activities are organised. Overal you can have the same like other colleges and also celebrate different festivals
Fee Structure And Facilities
For application I have paid around 300/- and for the first year I would say it's around 1.5k excluding university related exam fees that can range 300-500/- . The fees is very low as it is government affiliated college and there is rarely any extra expenses.

No, I haven't opted for any scholarship available as I am not a West Bengal board student. I am student of CBSE.
Campus Life
Campus life is pretty good. You have the whole Ganges River right in front of the college, the famous Ghat. Food stalls everywhere. Our class has pretty good gender ratio may be 70:30 B:G. Not much is available, the things you would get from private colleges
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is very strong. The teachers are quite helpful and they help is where we want them. Even seniors are quite helpful in everything.
Admission
I got admission through merit basis. There is no entrance exam. Your minimum cut off will be 60% in HS. Admission process is easy and online. Later on it will done in college for verification and others. If anyone who gets %age above 60% will easily get admission here.
Faculty
Faculty is quite good in their specific areas. PhD level teachers are also present to guide your way through English as well as Bengali version students. Overall decent and knowledgeable . Teachers are always ready to help when we need them and also they sometimes provide their own books too.
